Описание

Чикагский институт искусств — один из крупнейших и самых известных художественных музеев мира. Я познакомлю вас с его главными сокровищами: от средневековых доспехов до шедевров импрессионизма и американской живописи. А как бывшая сотрудница музея расскажу не только о самих работах, но и том, как устроена жизнь музея изнутри.

Что вас ожидает

Средневековые произведения. Вы осмотрите рыцарские доспехи и узнаете, как в Чикаго появилась одна из крупнейших подобных коллекций в Америке.

Импрессионисты и постимпрессионисты. Поговорим о работах Гюстава Кайботта, Жоржа Сёра, Поля Сезанна и других мастеров, благодаря которым музей стал всемирно известен.

Американское искусство. Обязательно подойдём к картинам «Американская готика» Гранта Вуда и «Полуночники» Эдварда Хоппера.

Витражи и совриск. Полюбуемся витражом America Windows Марка Шагала и поговорим об избранных произведениях 20–21 веков.
