Описание

На скоростном «Метеоре» отправимся вверх по Волге — в Свияжск, город, который построили всего за 28 дней по указу Ивана Грозного. Здесь — старинные улицы, атмосферные монастыри, виды на волжские просторы. И истории о том, как осваивали этот край и какую роль Свияжск сыграл в формировании Московского государства.

Что вас ожидает

От речного вокзала Казани на теплоходе «Метеор» мы доплывём до острова-града Свияжск. По пути волжские просторы порадуют глаз, из ваших уст вырвется — «Лепотааа!», а уши поймают мои рассказы об основании этого города.

В Свияжске мы с вами:

  • прогуляемся по улицам 16 века
  • рассмотрим архитектуру зданий
  • посетим женский Иоанно-Предтеченский монастырь — на его территории уцелела постройка эпохи основания города
  • побываем в мужском Успенском Богородицком монастыре, который основали в 1555 году
  • насладимся красотой просторов, что откроются взору с нескольких смотровых площадок

Я расскажу:

  • в связи с чем был основан Свияжск и какую роль он сыграл в истории России в 16 и 20 веках
  • сколько волостей ему подчинялось
  • как он пережил упадок и полное забвение — и возродился в 21 веке
