Описание

Примерно в часе езды от столицы находится практически безлюдная область Грузии, где почти нет поселений и привычной для других районов растительности. В отдалении от людской суеты, посреди окружающей суровой красоты, и вероятно, из-за особой энергетики местности, преподобный Давид заложил полторы тысячи лет назад фундамент монастырской обители, ставшей впоследствии важнейшим духовным и культурным центром страны. Зарождение христианства на грузинской земле, история и легенды религиозного комплекса и необычные природные ландшафты станут главными объектами вашего внимания на этой экскурсии.

Что вас ожидает

Путь к древней обители
Мы встретимся в Тбилиси и отправимся в юго-восточном направлении, к грузино-азербайджанской границе. Единственная деревня, которая вам встретится на пути к монастырю, как будто оправдываясь из-за своего расположения в засушливой местности, называется Удабно (пустыня — по-грузински). По пути вы рассмотрите природный ландшафт окрестности — безводную степь, меняющую окрас в зависимости от сезона, гряды холмов причудливого «дизайна» и просматриваемые вдалеке очертания Кавказских гор. После коротких остановок для фотосъемки у соленого озера и/или других понравившихся мест, мы прибудем в главный пункт назначения — действующий и по сей день мужской монастырь.

Лавра святого Давида
Среди множества исторически значимых архитектурных и живописных природных памятников страны Давид-Гареджийский монастырский комплекс по праву занимает особое место. В средние века он охватывал обширную территорию. Его ответвления — высеченные в скалах храмы, кельи монахов и хозяйственные помещения — находились иногда на значительном удалении друг от друга и были разбросаны на нескольких десятках квадратных километров. На экскурсии я расскажу вам об истоках христианского подвижничества в Грузии, о зарождении обители и легендах, связанных со строительством монастыря.

Треккинг и живописные виды на окрестности
Дальше вас ждет примерно двухчасовой поход на хребет, формально являющийся границей двух стран, прогулка по противоположному склону и спуск по тропе с другой стороны. Во время похода вы осмотрите высеченные в скале помещения древнего монастыря Тетри Удабно с фрагментарно сохранившейся настенной росписью — интересными образцами грузинской средневековой монументальной живописи. А также окинете взглядом открывающиеся сверху виды на равнины соседнего Азербайджана.

Пещерный монастырь Натлисмцемели
Завершить экскурсию можно посещением еще одного пещерного монастыря, названного в честь Иоанна Крестителя. Обитель является частью Давидо-Гареджийского комплекса и располагается в не менее живописном месте. Однако сюда редко добираются путешественники и паломники из-за некоторого удаления от проторенных троп.

Перед возвращением в Тбилиси можем пообедать в колоритном польско-грузинском кафе (в сезон: с апреля по октябрь).

Могу смело рекомендовать Дмитрия как экскурсовода! Он прекрасно знает историю Грузии и умеет рассказывать её доступным языком. Видно, что Дмитрий постоянно совершенствует свои маршруты, добавляет новые детали и впечатления. Очень порадовало, что он идёт навстречу пожеланиям, даже несмотря на некоторые сомнения из-за погоды. Отдельным плюсом стала остановка на обед в уютном кафе с вкусными блюдами и ароматным кофе. Спасибо Дмитрию за интересную и душевную экскурсию!

Были с Георгием в Давид- Гереджийском монастыре. Это было незабываемо! Очень Вам, Георгий благодарны за чудесную экскурсию, Вашу доброжелательность. По нашей просьбе Георгий показал нам дополнительно и Додо- Гаержийский монастырь. Очень благодарны Вам за всё! Однозначно, рекомендую.

К водителю и экскурсоводу претензий нет. Обоим выражаем благодарность. Есть пожелание. Думаю, следуем предупреждать, что из-за отсутствия демаркации границы с Азербайджаном на сегодняшний день, можно посмотреть только один объект (хотя и очень достойный). Также необходимо иметь для этой поездки походную обувь и одежду.

Спасибо большое Дмитрию за целый день в Давид-Гареджи. Это уникальное место с необычной историей. С первых минут видна его большая любовь к Грузии! Вся поездка прошла в комфортном темпе - не было суеты или, наоборот, тягомотины. Рекомендую!
