Приглашаю на неклассическую экскурсию о «древности» на современный лад. Вы увидите знаменитые афинские холмы и их тайные уголки, пройдетесь по живописному району Плака, сравните традиции древних греков и современных жителей, вспомните греческие мифы и почувствуете город как местные жители.

Что вас ожидает

Легендарные афинские холмы
Вы погуляете по главным городским холмам, познакомитесь с греческой мифологией и топ-моделями античного времени. Итак, в программе экскурсии:

  • Холм Ареопагос — с него проповедовал Апостол Павел и выступал Папа Римский Иоанн Павел II. Я расскажу, какой богиней создан холм и кому он посвящен. Вы узнаете, почему именно здесь заседал высший суд, и увидите грандиозный вход в Акрополь. С другой стороны Ареопагоса открывается вид на место, где когда-то протекала главная коммерческая и развлекательная жизнь города. Я расскажу, как выглядели древнегреческие торговые ряды, как древние греки «шопились», ходили в спортивные залы и собирались на «вечеринки».
  • Холм Нимф — на его склоне раньше находился источник, а сам холм был пронизан запутанной сетью каналов, питавших буйную растительность. Я расскажу о преданиях, населивших холм неземными существами — нимфами, любительницами влаги и тени. Греки очень любили нимф: приносили им жертвы, строили святилища и алтари, изображали их в скульптурах. Вы узнаете, какой обряд того времени дошел до современных дней.
  • Холм Пникс — место, где родилась демократия. Здесь когда-то собирались граждане Афин, «демос», для принятия важных решений о жизни города-государства. Вы увидите трибуну Бема, где выступали великие ораторы древности. Услышите историю о связи английского джентльмена и древнего грека. Узнаете, кем был официально одобрен первый публичный дом Афин, каким законам подчинялись древние греки и какие изобретения были найдены на холме.
  • Холм Муз (Холм Филопаппу) — самый высокий Акропольский холм. Вы узнаете, почему сейчас он носит имя римского сенатора с афинским гражданством Юлия Антиоха Филопаппу, а в древности назывался холмом Муз. Я расскажу, откуда было взято финансирование на строительство Парфенона или «древнегреческий офшор», что прячется в скалах Акрополя, и действительно ли на холме находилась тюрьма Сократа. Если экскурсия будет проходить вечером, то мы полюбуемся безумно красивым закатом. С холма Муз открываются умопомрачительные виды на Акрополь, простирающийся внизу город, горы и море. Вы ощутите, как в древности созерцание такого великолепия природы позволяло музам вдохновлять художников, поэтов, архитекторов, танцоров, актеров и философов на сотворение новых шедевров.

Прогулка по старинной Плаке
В завершение мы пройдемся по живописному району Плака, где я расскажу о традициях и быте древних греков и сравню их с образом жизни современных афинян. Вы узнаете, как жители Греции учились, участвовали в соревнованиях, собирались на войны, развлекались, женились, растили детей и хоронили родственников. Я сделаю все, чтобы вы почувствовали Афины во всем их многообразии, с запахами и звуками, прошлым и настоящим. По желанию, в Плаке вы можете отведать местные сладости, выпить кофе и перекусить в аутентичном кафе.
