Описание
История Родоса — древний манускрипт, насыщенный событиями. Одной из ярких глав в судьбе острова стало прибытие рыцарей Мальтийского ордена. Как лицензионный гид я познакомлю вас с наследием этой эпохи, расскажу о госпитальерах, битвах, орденских «языках» и том, чем Средневековая Европа обязана восточному миру.
Что вас ожидает
Защита Веры
Мы прогуляемся кварталами Старого города, где сплетаются фрагменты разных эпох. Крепостные стены откроют секреты рыцарской фортификации, а мозаика, скульптура и архитектура монументального Дворца Магистров расскажут о культуре Родоса того времени. На улице Рыцарей перед вами развернется история крестовых походов: я отвечу на вопросы о том, почему рыцари были монахами, какой образ жизни они вели и кого называли великим магистром.
Помощь Бедным и Страждущим
Далее нас ждет рыцарская лечебница XV века, построенная в стиле караван-сарая. Вы узнаете, что находилось в помещениях здания и услышите о сложнейших операциях, которые проводили еще в Средневековье. Я расскажу, почему именно госпитальная деятельность стала для ордена Иоанна Иерусалимского основной и каким образом военные люди стали медиками. А после мы зайдем в рыцарскую церковь.
Итальянский Родос
В завершении экскурсии мы остановимся в порту города. Вы совершите путешествие в эпоху Александра Великого и попробуете разгадать загадку Колосса Родосского — узнаете историю его создания, а также где же он на самом деле находился и как выглядел.
P.S. Для путешественников, прибывающих в порт города Родос, а также для тех, кто не хочет осматривать Дворец Магистров внутри, программа включает посещение еврейского квартала, где вы увидите раввинскую школу, площадь еврейских мучеников, самую старую синагогу в Греции, ворота Св. Екатерины и храм Св. Пантелеймона, основанный рыцарями-крестоносцами.

Потрясающая экскурсия. Афина прекрасный рассказчик. Исторические факты сплетены с мифологией и личным опытом, слушается на одном дыхании легко и увлекательно!

Спасибо большое Афине за содержательную экскурсию. Познакомила с историей Родоса, обошли весь старый город, фото просто великолепные. Два часа пролетели незаметно. Всем очень рекомендую! Увлекательно и познавательно для любого возраста .

Это была чудесная экскурсия для 4-х взрослых людей, двое из которых терпеть не могут подобные мероприятия. Я надеялась на то, что они хотя бы ныть не будут и продержатся 2 часа, но Афина сумела их заинтересовать! Спасибо огромное за экскурсию!
