Описание
Надпись на городских воротах гласит: «Сиена открывает тебе своё сердце, которое больше этих ворот» — так дружелюбно город встречает своих гостей. На прогулке вы исследуете своеобразную архитектуру и погрузитесь в особую атмосферу Сиены, которая сохраняется благодаря местным жителям, ревностно берегущим свои многовековые традиции. Вы узнаете интересные факты из жизни города — где собираются и чем занимаются жители в свободное время, где крестят детей, чем отличается менталитет сиенцев от менталитета жителей «вражеской» Флоренции, что такое Палио, какого цвета одежду выбирать для прогулки по городу и многое другое!

Места, связанные с жизнью покровительницы Италии
Базилика Святого Доменико и дом-святилище Святой Екатерины Сиенской — два главных места, где родилась и молилась Екатерина — покровительница Италии и Евросоюза. Маленькая и хрупкая Екатерина вернула Папу Григория XI из авиньонского пленения на престол св. Петра в Рим. Там же хранятся мощи сиенской святой, высоко почитаемой католиками всего мира.
Знаковые площади Сиены
Вы прогуляетесь по площади Салимбени, окруженной тремя роскошными старинными дворцами, в которых сегодня находятся административные офисы одного из старейших банков мира «Monte dei Paschi di Siena». В центре площади Толомеи увидите колонну с волчицей — она очень похожа на римскую, но эта волчица сугубо сиенская и кормит она не Ромула и Рема, а Аскьо и Сеньо. Правда об этой легенде знают только сиенцы, но после экскурсии будете знать и вы. Также вы побываете в пульсирующем сердце города — на Пьяцца дель Кампо. Необычайной красоты площадь в форме раскрытой раковины, с фонтаном радости, элегантными палаццо сиенской знати и городской ратушей, откроется вашему взору совершенно неожиданно. Каждый год, 2-го июля и 16-го августа, здесь проходят знаменитые скачки на лошадях.
Мир искусства
Я покажу Дворец Киджи Сарачини — музей и музыкальную академию, созданную в 1932 г. в собственном доме графом Гвидо Киджи Сарачини, где до сих пор проводятся мастер-классы ведущих мировых музыкантов, в числе которых были Казальс, Рубинштейн, Прокофьев, Сеговия, Жак Тибо, Мильштейн, Юрий Башмет и др. В музее музыкальных инструментов вы увидите виолончель Страдивари 1682, самый старый образец клавесина в мире, принадлежавший Папе Льву X Медичи, и фортепиано Франца Листа. А кафедральный собор Успения Пресвятой Богородицы, который называют мировым шедевром и посещают как музей, познакомит вас с произведениями искусства величайших итальянских мастеров: Микеланджело, Рафаэля, Лоренцо Бернини, Донателло, Пинтуриккьо.
Структура города
На экскурсии вы узнаете о районах и так называемых контрадах, на которые разделен город. Каждая контрада — это маленькое государство со своим правительством, капитаном, казначеем, священником, геральдикой и символическим животным, которое 2 раза в год выставляет свою лошадь и жокея на скачки — Палио. Готовятся к этому событию целый год!
Кулинарные традиции
Сиенские сладости — это отдельное удовольствие и непременная часть знакомтсва с городом. Вы продегустируете панфорте (крепкий хлеб) и панпепато (хлеб с перцем) — большой пирог или пряник со вкусом миндаля, фундука, цукатов, корицы и мёда; белоснежные миндальные печенья ричарелли (кучеряшки); каваллуччи с кардамоном и анисом; а также попробуете кантуччи с десертным вином — винсанто (святое вино).

Помимо продуманного и увлекательного рассказа, который было интересно слушать даже тем, кто был в Сиене не раз, экскурсия прошла в очень тёплой атмосфере. Ирина была внимательна к каждому, поддерживала добрую и приятную беседу, помогла сделать фотографии и дала замечательные рекомендации. Спасибо!

Ирина - потрясающая ! И , как гид, и как человек ! Я провела с ней прекрасные 3 часа. Ощущение , как с подругой, которую знаю очень давно! С юмором, с историей, со знанием, с позитивом и любовью к городу и стране 👍❤️ очень и очень советую, если хотите получить помимо знаний , эмоции от города!

Ирина прекрасно провела экскурсию по Сиене для нашей компании из 5 человек. Было очень интересно и познавательно! Я в Сиене уже не в первый раз, очень люблю этот мистический для меня город, но благодаря Ирине открыла для себя много нового! Спасибо!
