Описание

Я очень люблю готовить и хочу поделиться любовью к кулинарии с вами. Мы отправимся на Шкмерийское высокогорное плато — в край древних ремесленников и металлургов. И там, на высоте 2000 м, приготовим легендарное грузинское шкмерули (чкмерули), которое именно в тех местах и родилось. Уверяю вас, всё получится: и вкуснейшее блюдо, и ещё один замечательный день в Грузии.

Что вас ожидает

Рано утром мы покинем Кутаиси и, миновав Сацирское водохранилище, живописный Накеральский перевал и родину Хванчкары — город Амбролаури, к полудню приедем в село Шкмери горного региона Рача, стоящее на высоте 2000 м. Отсюда виден почти весь Кавказ, от Эльбруса до горных пиков Осетии. Легенда гласит, что впервые знаменитое шкмерули — курятину с чесноком в топлёном масле — приготовили именно здесь. Вы узнаете не только эту историю: я расскажу и о других блюдах нашего края, в том числе малоизвестных и совсем забытых.

По живописной дороге мы поднимемся на высокогорное Шкмерийское плато. Сделаем остановку у грандиозного каньона, где река пропадает под землёй, поговорим о жизни в горных сёлах и вместе приготовим традиционное шкмерули. Вы оцените, как невероятно вкусна пища на свежем воздухе, посреди первозданной природы: вокруг — бесконечные горы, над головой — чистое небо, и лишь ветер шелестит в траве и нарушает тишину высокогорья.
