Описание
Меня часто спрашивают — стоит ли посещать Кносский дворец? И я однозначно отвечаю — да! Помните мифы о лабиринте Минотавра? Есть версии, что он и был дворцом легендарного царя Миноса, который, в реконструированном виде, я приглашаю вас исследовать. Помимо мифологических загадок, Кноссос ценен как образец поразительной инженерии и архитектуры своего времени. Это сооружение — мост в древнейшую европейскую цивилизацию в эпоху ее расцвета и величия, и без нее представление о наследии Крита будет неполным.

Главный дворец минойской цивилизации
В 5 км к югу от Ираклиона находится восстановленный дворец Кноссос — сооружение со сложным планом, что и стало поводом для сопоставления его с лабиринтом. Я расскажу о минойской цивилизации, которая долгое время считалась мифической, об открытии знаменитого археолога Артура Эванса и городе Кноссе — влиятельном политическом центре Средиземноморья. На экскурсии по территории дворца (по вашему желанию) вас будет сопровождать местный гид — профессиональный историк. Перед вами предстанет один из первых в истории человечества примеров возведения многоэтажных зданий и системы коммуникаций — с водопроводом, канализаций и вентиляционными шахтами. Вы узнаете о методах создания естественного и искусственного освещения, отопления, а также о древнейшей дороге в Европе. Мифологические сюжеты тоже не останутся в стороне — вы услышите о древнегреческих персонажах: создателе лабиринта Дедале, критском чудовище Минотавре и победившем его Тесее.
По пути в Ираклион…
Исследовав тайны дворца, вы отправитесь в столицу, а по пути заедете в бастион венецианской крепости Rocca al Mare и подниметесь на крепостные стены 15 столетия н.э., с которых сможете запечатлеть голубую лазурь Эгейского моря и венецианскую марину. Как ни странно, эти два места имеют связь еще со времен самих венецианцев — какую именно, вы узнаете на экскурсии.
Архитектура и гастрономия столицы
В Ираклионе я познакомлю вас с миром вкусов и ароматов Крита: на аутентичных рынках, в самобытных магазинчиках и кафе вы попробуете местное «жидкое золото» — оливковое масло, несколько видов традиционных сыров, алкогольный напиток раки, оливки и другие продукты, без которых немыслима гастрономическая культура острова. В портовой части вы осмотрите старинные крепости и церкви, а в секретных двориках я расскажу о тонкостях критского менталитета, культуры и традиций. Прогулка завершится в известной таверне с лучшим видом на гавань, где я помогу вам сориентироваться в разнообразии национальных блюд. А напоследок вас будет ждать приятный сюрприз!

Организационные детали
- На экскурсии вас сопровождают водитель и гид. Экскурсия проводится на комфортабельном минивэне 2019 года выпуска, с кондиционированием воздуха. Детские кресла предоставляем бесплатно при необходимости.
- В Кносском дворце экскурсию ведет профессиональный историк. Это отдельная экскурсия и оплачивается дополнительно: 70 евро с группы. Либо вы можете посетить дворец самостоятельно — от меня вы в любом случае услышите множество интересных фактов за пределами объекта.
- Экскурсия начинается, как правило, утром и заканчивается во второй половине дня.
- Транспортные расходы входят в стоимость экскурсии. Мы встретим вас в отеле, если вы живете в следующих населенных пунктах: Hersonissos, Analipsi, Anissaras, Gouves, Kokkini Hani, Malia, Stalida, Heraklion, Karteros, Amoudara, Agia Pelagia, область Lassiti, Agios Nikolaos.

Здравствуйте! Бронировали экскурсию заранее, примерно за месяц. Организатор Анна учла все наши личные пожелания. В день экскурсии из отеля нас забрал пунктуальный вежливый хороший водитель. В машине кондиционер, вода. Во дворце нас встретила экскурсовод Элени, к тому же ещё и археолог. Всё без очередей. Элени всё рассказывала в тени, жара не утомила. Благодаря Элени в Кносском дворце узнали историю Крита, начиная от 4000 лет до н.э., в лёгкой форме. К нам пробовали присоеденится русскоговорящие девочки с детьми, которые просто взяли себе аудиогиды и остались ими недовольны. Никакой аудиогид так интересно и красочно не расскажет и не покажет, как Элени. Далее была прогулка по Ираклиону - улицы с магазинами, рынок, церкви и порт. Элени нас сориентировала и мы попросили 1,5 часа личного времени. Посетили кафе, магазины и рынок. Заранее договорились с водителем через Анну о времени и месте встречи. В назначенное время с кондиционером и прохладной водой спокойно добрались до отеля. В такую жару мы с пользой провели время, не затрачивая силы и время на поиски и очереди и дорогу. Благодарим Вас Анна, Стерьёз и Элени! Если вернёмся на Крит, то обязательно закажем с вами экскурсию.

Индивидуально подошли к программе экскурсии, и были учтены все наши пожелания. Невероятные познания и харизма экскурсовода Элени, которая смогла погрузить в историю так, словно мы сами побывали в тех временах. При следующем случае еще раз закажу экскурсию только у Анны
