Описание

Музей с крупнейшей коллекцией произведений зарубежной живописи в Венгрии давно стал мне вторым домом. Поэтому я познакомлю вас с его историей и собранием не только как профессиональный искусствовед, но и как человек, которому это место по-настоящему дорого. Вы узнаете, как в страну попало целых семь работ Эль Греко и в чем секрет притягательности портрета Джорджоне; увидите одну из последних флорентийских мадонн Рафаэля и услышите о тонкостях изображения королевы Кипра на полотне Джентиле Беллини.

Что вас ожидает

История музея и его коллекций
Вы узнаете об основании музея в конце 19 века и постепенном расширении его впечатляющей ныне коллекции. Я коротко расскажу о князьях Эстерхази, которым принадлежала большая часть собрания музея, и архитектуре здания. В центре внимания будет галерея старых мастеров, но также я познакомлю вас с содержанием основной экспозиции, рассказав о ее главных залах.

Знакомство с шедеврами старых мастеров
Я расскажу захватывающую историю бронзового «Всадника», приписанного самому Леонардо да Винчи, а также покажу самую прекрасную картину великого гения, написанную, увы, не им — как это возможно, вы узнаете из моего рассказа. Познакомлю с произведениями великого Рафаэля Санти и главной гордостью коллекции — «Мадонной Эстерхази». Объясню, благодаря каким приемам «Портрет молодого человека» Джорджоне производит столь таинственное впечатление и отчего грустна королева Джентиле Беллини. Кроме того, вы услышите о невероятном обретении музеем работ Тициана и Эль Греко и венгерском аристократе, заказавшем портрет своего дяди самому Брейгелю.
