Таинственный остров
Мы разберёмся, почему Новая Голландия считается одним из самых загадочных мест Петербурга. Вы узнаете, почему остров оставался закрытым стратегическим объектом почти 300 лет, успев побывать морским складом, полигоном ВМФ с экспериментальными бассейнами, радиостанцией и тюрьмой. Мы рассмотрим старинные корпуса с романтической аркой и каналами, вдохнем ароматы «Травяного сада», посетим мрачное здание тюрьмы.

Вы услышите любопытные факты об острове, которые можно отыскать лишь в очень редких источниках. Например, я покажу, где в Новой Голландии испытывали ледоколы. Вы узнаете, каким был тюремный режим арестантов, откуда пошло выражение «не лезь в бутылку» и как сюда попали два льва из знаменитой ограды особняка на Неве. А еще мы обнаружим масонские знаки, советские граффити и даже здания в стиле деревянного модерна.
Новейшая история острова
15 лет назад остров открылся для посетителей и стал излюбленным местом встреч горожан — здесь проходят выставки и художественные акции, реставрируются и открываются новые арт-площадки. Но всё могло сложиться иначе: я расскажу, что еще собирались построить на острове, покажу примеры разных проектов, и мы обсудим, были бы они уместны в центре города. И, конечно, порассуждаем о будущем Новой Голландии.

Кирилл - очень умный молодой человек, потрясающе интересный материал, узнали много нового. Очень рада, что посетили его экскурсию по Новой Голландии! Единственный совет Кириллу - рассказывать чуть медленнее, не торопиться. Так восприниматься информация будет лучше ☺️

Были с супругой в сентябре. Слышали про это место давно, но никак не получилось посетить. Сам остров безусловно имеет свое неповторимое очарование, в чем-то похож на московское Зарядье, но безусловно это отдельная история. Промышленная архитектура 18-19 вв. по-своему притягательна. Гид Кирилл дополнил пейзаж интересным рассказом, видно, что он на своем месте, великолепно разбирается в теме и очень увлечен. Настоящий петербургский интеллигент! Горячо рекомендую!
