Говоря о прошлом Вильнюса, чаще всего сложно понять, где миф, а где — реальность, город бережно хранит историю сосуществования разных культур — литовской, польской, еврейской, белорусской. Я открою вам сказания и страшные сказки Вильнюса. Вы узнаете, как легенда об основании города связана со стальным волком, откуда взялся слух о приведении из замка и кто разлучил вильнюсских Ромео и Джульетту. История города откроется вам с необычной стороны — от лица великих правителей, святых, прекрасных женщин и простых работяг Вильнюса.

Вильнюс — от князя Гединимуса до королевы Боны Сфорцы
На прогулке вы услышите истории старого Вильнюса, которые до сих на слуху у местных жителей. Вы узнаете легенду об основании города: я объясню, как с ней связан огромный стальной волк, которого увидел во сне литовский князь Гедиминус, и почему название будущей столицы Литвы пошло от речки Вильни. Поговорим о знаменитом вильнюсском приведении, о королеве Боне Сфорцы и местных Ромео и Джульетте — и все это среди мощеных старых улочек и головокружительных городских панорам с холмов.
Город глазами его удивительных жителей
Вы познакомитесь с Вильнюсом через рассказы о его великих правителях и простых работяг. Узнаете об ангельской символике в Вильнюсе и ее связи с русскими, которые жили в Литве, разберетесь, почему женщины последнего правителя из рода Гедеминовичей оставили след, но не оставили наследника, и поймете, как литовский княжич Казимер стал небесным покровителем Литвы и Польши. А еще я расскажу из чего состояла казна города, как боролись с преступностью, и почему выражение «поцеловать бабу на Ратушной площади» связано с наказаниями.
