Описание

Троодос — самая крупная горная система Кипра. Здесь находятся уникальные архитектурные памятники, занесенные в список всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО, и нетронутая природа. Вы проедете по горным дорогам острова и погрузитесь в его историю, познакомитесь с бытом и традициями местных жителей.

Что вас ожидает

Северный склон Троодоса
Вы побываете на северной стороне горного хребта. Основная достопримечательность деревни — церковь Архангела Михаила. Мы посмотрим на церковь с фасада и полюбуемся фресками ХV века, которые находятся внутри. Я расскажу о художнике, который в 1474 году расписывал здесь стены, и покажу послание, которое скромный живописец из Маратасас оставил потомкам.

Церковь Пресвятой Богородицы и монастырь Иоанна Лампадиста
Примерно в трех километрах от Педуласа расположилась другая, не менее интересная деревня — Мудуллос. Здесь вы увидите церковь Пресвятой Богородицы и узнаете об особенностях постройки «церквей под крышей». Затем мы отправимся в Калопанайотис, чтобы увидеть монастырь святого Иоанна Лампадиста и пройти по местам, куда в 45 году нашей эры прибыли два апостола: Павел и Варнава.

Гора Олимп
Гора Олимп — самая высокая вершина острова, высота которой достигает 2000 метров над уровнем моря. Вы полюбуетесь захватывающими видами и насладитесь природой Кипра. И, конечно, мы заглянем в самое загадочное и таинственное место Троодоса — отель Беренгария. Ранее величественный и роскошный, теперь он пребывает в полном забвении — с моей помощью вы разберетесь, почему так произошло, и разгадаете некоторые тайны этого места.

Экскурсия очень интересная. Милые деревеньки, старинные церкви с удивительными фресками и конечно горы, красивые, тихие. Воздух с запахом сосен и можжевельника... Хотелось остаться там, хотя бы на 1 ночь. Владимир увлечен культурой, традициями и красотами острова и с удовольствием готов делиться своими знаниями с туристами. Рекомендую ценителям природы и старины.
