Описание
Канди — последняя столица сингальских королей и один из важнейших городов Шри-Ланки. Вы увидите живописное искусственное озеро и посетите древний храм Зубы Будды, расположенный прямо на берегу. Кроме того, мы заедем в слоновий питомник Пиннавела и потрясающий ботанический сад, где собраны сотни местных растений и деревьев.

Мы побываем в старинном буддийском храме, погуляем по гигантскому ботаническому саду и познакомимся с очаровательными ланкийскими слонами. В программе экскурсии:
- Храм Зуба Будды — главная достопримечательность Канди. Вы узнаете историю священной реликвии и осмотрите великолепный храмовый комплекс с резными деревянными украшениями, расписными потолками и дверьми, отделанными серебром и слоновой костью. Мы расскажем об одной из самых красочных процессий на Востоке — Эсала-Перахера — и поделимся легендой о волосах принцессы Хемамалы.
- Слоновий питомник Пиннавела — место, куда привозят слонят, оставшихся без родителей. Тут их воспитывают, после чего отправляют в зоопарки разных стран либо обучают работать. Вы услышите историю питомника и, если повезет, понаблюдаете за процессом кормления слонят.
- Королевский ботанический сад — один из лучших парков Южной Азии. Вы пройдете по аллее Мемориальных деревьев, увидите больше сотни видов пальм, коллекцию комнатных растений и декоративных орхидей. А мы раскроем, как с ланкийским парком связаны Николай II и Юрий Гагарин.

Отличная экскурсия. Все было очень познавательно, насыщенно, время провели с удовольствием и пользой. Гид Веранжит все так круто рассказывал, было очень интересно слушать. Обязательно рекомендуем всем съездить, если хотите стать ближе к истории Шри-Ланке. Пишу отзыв спустя долгое время, только приятные эмоции помним до сих пор. Особенно экскурсия по реке и свежевыжатый соки из плавучего кафе-магазина.

Здравствуйте, гид Самурди, показалось, что была не заинтересована в проведении экскурсии, работала по принципу "спросишь-ответит, не спросишь-будешь ехать в тишине", больше оцениваю не как гида, а как услуги русскоговорящего сопровождающего. Энтузиазма и желания рассказать что-то о стране не было. По водителю: с маршрутом периодически путался, в машине грязновато. При этом был минивэн, хорошо, что машина была вместительная, разместились свободно. В целом всё прошло нормально, оцениваю как удовлетворительно. Но при этом брали остальные экскурсии от туроператора, машины лучше, гиды тоже более энергичные.

Очень понравилась поездка! Гид Сурекша - замечательный рассказчик, было очень интересно узнать о Шри-Ланке именно от местного жителя. Я смогла задать вопросы, которые меня интересовали, человеку, знающему особенности жизни и религии Шри-Ланки изнутри. Конечно, для детей, да и для взрослых, было незабываемо знакомство со слонами в приюте Пинавелла🐘. Это ни с чем не сравнимые впечатления! А Ботанический сад - красивое и познавательное место для прогулок. Вернулись все довольные, с массой новой информации как общеобразовательной, так и эстетической. Отличная экскурсия!
