Описание

Одна легенда гласит: «Рига никогда не будет готова и достроена до конца». И это чистая правда — латвийская столица не боится перемен и гордится амбициозными планами. Я расскажу, почему Ригу называют «маленьким Парижем», и покажу самые интересные места Старого города, некогда окруженного крепостными стенами.

Что вас ожидает

«Визитные карточки» исторического центра
Вы пройдете по самой узкой улочке Старого города, познакомитесь с «Тремя братьями», Золотым рыцарем и Большим Кристапом, а также полюбуетесь Рижским замком с набережной Даугавы. Следом осмотрите Ратушную площадь, остановитесь у Дома братства Черноголовых, заглянете в Яново подворье, Пороховую башню и двор Конвента. Кроме того, вы посетите лабораторию средневековых алхимиков и отведаете отличный кофе!

Рига сквозь века
Вы увидите фрагменты мощных городских укреплений — башни, рвы, крепостные стены — и загадаете желание, проходя через Шведские ворота. Подниметесь на Бастионную горку и услышите самое важное об истории города: о епископе Альберте и вражде горожан с Ливонским орденом, о Риге шведских и польских времен и о расцвете города в составе Российской Империи в начале ХХ века.

Современный город и рекомендации местного жителя
Я покажу «Бременских музыкантов» и другие места, обещающие путешественникам успех и удачу. А еще — улицы, которые особенно часто снимают в кино. Кроме того, вы узнаете, почему именно в Риге уже много лет празднуют день рождения Шерлока Холмса, и услышите легенды о влюбленных и трубочистах, подземельях и кладах, ведьмах и неверных женах. В завершение я расскажу о гастрономических пристрастиях рижан, особенностях традиционной латышской кухни и атмосферных местах, где можно вкусно поесть, выпить местного пива или полакомиться десертом.

Я замечательно провела время с Татьяной. Во первых воспользовалась ее рекомендацией и посетила органный концерт в Домском соборе. Во вторых получила много полезной занимательной информации, которую можно назвать: «О Риге с любовью!». Всё очень понравилось. Жаль, что в ближайшее время не получится посетить Ригу. Обязательно снова сходили бы на экскурсию.
