Как, для чего и кем строилась самая известная столичная крепостная стена? Причём здесь «Китай»? Кто населял исторический район, и чем здесь занимались жители? Вместе мы обойдём все улицы и закоулки Китай-города, а по пути я увлеку вас хрониками района — ведь каждый угол здесь буквально пропитан историей. Приготовьтесь исследовать древнюю часть Москвы вдоль и поперёк!

Увлекательное путешествие в прошлое
На прогулке мы поговорим о разрушенной стене, и о границах, которые она задавала легендарному теперь Китай-городу на протяжении 400 лет. Я расскажу, почему её называют редчайшим по красоте памятником крепостного зодчества, которым гордилась бы любая столица Европы. Поделюсь, как итальянец Петрок Малый строил эту крепость при малолетнем Иване Грозном, какую роль играли её башни и отчего Китай-городу дали такое странное для Руси название.

Китайгородская паутина из улочек и переулков
Немногие знают, что из старинного для любования крепостью остались только Птичья башня и фрагменты краснокирпичной стены за «Метрополем». Отсюда мы и начнем нашу прогулку в исчезнувший Китай-город — к древним улицам Никольской, Ильинке, Варварке и переулкам. Вы узнаете, как самая старая часть Москвы менялась в исторической перспективе, и увидите, что сохранилось для нас из веков минувших.

  • На Никольской вы услышите историю возникновения предшественницы МГУ — Славяно-греко-латинской академии и Государева печатного двора, откуда появились и первая книга, и первая газета
  • На Ильинке — узнаете о том, что не сохранилось: о церкви Николая Чудотворца «Большой Крест» и Посольском дворе, в котором останавливались все прибывшие чужеземные послы и их свита. Полюбуетесь старым Гостиным двором и домами — архитектурными шедеврами, каких нет во всей Москве. Галина великолепный рассказчик, эрудированный и увлеченный гид. Мы с подругами узнали много нового, на хорошо знакомые места взглянули иначе и с помощью Галины увидели то, чего не замечали ранее. Время прошло быстро, экскурсия увлекательная и познавательная. Спасибо!

Галина не просто экскурсовод,это женщина увлеченная и умеющая увлечь темой экскурсии своих слушателей! Интересно и с юмором может рассказать материал,освещает все !!! Есть интерактивный материал,фото тех далёких лет, благодаря этому смотришь на знакомые места по новому!!!Очень увлекательно,много тайных троп,которые сам никогда не узнаешь и не подумаешь,что они здесь есть.Экскупсия просто супер, рекомендую!!!!!

Очень насыщенная и познавательная экскурсия! Галина, экскурсовод, крайне энергичная, эрудированная, небезразличная, а эта её экскурсия просто пропитана любовью к Москве, к истории этого города, его архитектуре. Мы с мужем остались в восторге и от объема информации, и от содержания. Обязательно встретимся ещё!
