Один из лучших курортов солнечного острова откроет для вас свои объятия. Я покажу вам самое главное — старинные площади и церкви, изящные дворцы. Вы пройдете по аллеям необычного городского парка и насладитесь видами Ионического моря и вулкана Этна. А еще узнаете, как живут местные жители, услышите любопытные истории и простой рецепт лимончелло!

Ги де Мопассан в своем дневнике писал: «Если кому-то выпадет провести на Сицилии хотя бы один день, и он спросит меня, что необходимо увидеть, я без сомнения отвечу — Таормину!».

Что вас ожидает

Самый центр города
Вы увидите памятник символу Таормины и древнюю часовую башню Торре дель’ Оролоджио. Осмотрите дворец Корвая, который стал визитной карточкой нашего города. Площадь 9 апреля — своеобразная смотровая площадка Таормины — очарует вас сказочными видами на Ионическое побережье и вулкан Этну. А я открою вам, почему она получила такое название.

Храмовая архитектура
Мы также осмотрим религиозные памятники города: величественный Кафедральный собор святого Николая, церковь Святой Екатерины Александрийской — самой почитаемой на Сицилии. Я поделюсь примечательной историей создания храма Святого Августина и объясню, в какое время дня меняет свою окрас небольшая церковь, посвященная Святому Джузеппе.

Античное наследие
Отдельное внимание уделим и античным древностям. Вы посетите Греческий театр — самый старый в городе, 3 век до н.э. Если повезет, то заглянем в барочную церковь Святого Панкратия, возведенную на останках античного храма: его фрагменты и сегодня находятся рядом с базиликой. Я расскажу вам о великомученике Панкратии, покровителе города, и о празднике, который отмечается каждый високосный год.

Под сенью старого сада
От жаркого солнца спрячемся в тень городского парка. Вы услышите о его основательнице — англичанке Флоренс Тревельян. Её стараниями у таорминцев появилась возможность наслаждаться экзотическими растениями и деревьями, каменными лестницами, статуями и причудливыми беседками.

Спасибо Татьяне за не просто интересный, а прямо захватывающий рассказ про Сицилию и Таормину! Я уже не первый раз на Сицилии и думал, что основные места уже изучил, но Татьяна набросала мне массу идей на еще одну поездку

Великолепная экскурсия! День прошёл на одном дыхании. Татьяна прекрасный гид, интересный рассказчик, которая заинтересовала всю семью, погрузила нас в историю и красоту Таормины. Видно, что человек любит свое дело и подкован в исторических фактах. Спасибо огромное!!! Было интересно и познавательно! Экскурсию рекомендуем.

Таурино.. таурини.. таурони.. реально, ехал туда где супруга заказала гида и совершенно не представлял, что это за место. Ну город на Сицилии.. и все. Встреча с гидом Татьяной настолько перевернуло мой скептицизм на глубокое понимание исторической бесценности этого места и его красоты, что я решил написать этот отзыв. Татьяна - знает историю каждого угла этого древнего и очень красивого города. 4 часа пролетели как просмотр офигенного фильма с реальным историческим сюжетом, наложенным на действующие строения и раскопки. Я окунулся глазами в расцвет римской империи и переплетение эпох, которое сохранил этот уникальный город. Который называется ТАОРМИНА! Браво! Это был не забываемый день. Татьяна - огонь!🔥👍
