Описание

Я покажу вам другой Тель-Авив: не такой известный, как старый Яффо, но такой же прекрасный. Как и в случае с Яффо, у арабского Аджами криминальное прошлое — и большое туристическое будущее. Роскошные виллы, церквушки, уютные дворики и сады: пока эти места остаются нетронутыми и потому сохраняют очарование. На экскурсии вы узнаете, как жил палестинский город в 19 веке, поймете, почему он оказался заброшен, и погрузитесь в его атмосферу.

Что вас ожидает

Жизнь старого района
«Аджами» — так называется израильский фильм, номинированный на Оскар 10 лет назад. В нем арабские подростки торгуют наркотиками, израильские полицейские стреляют прямо на улицах, а влюбленные араб и еврейка никогда не будут вместе.
Сегодня ситуация изменилась: в некогда заброшенных палестинских особняках поселились семьи европейских дипломатов, и джентрификация (благоустройство) района происходит с бешеной скоростью. Но пока еще куры пасутся во дворах заброшенных британских госпиталей, а мои экскурсанты иногда встречают павлинов.

Аджами в прошлом, настоящем и будущем
Обветшалые виллы, церкви, дома священников — вы полюбуетесь архитектурой ближневосточного колониального стиля, насладитесь тишиной уютных садов. Я расскажу о тех временах, когда этой территорией правила Османская империя: о жизни интеллектуальной арабской элиты, о том, чем торговали и на каких языках говорили. Вы поймете, откуда в арабском районе столько странных церквей, чем марониты отличаются от мелькитов и кто теперь живет в этих безумных особняках.
Поговорим и о том, какие политические процессы привели к запустению и жилищному кризису: до 2000 года район оставался прибежищем криминальных элементов. Но сегодня иностранные инвесторы вкладываются в развитие района: вы услышите о концепции джентрификации Аджами и узнаете, что ждет его в будущем.

  • Длина маршрута — около 3 километров, почти без перепадов высот. Маршрут круговой, мы закончим там же, где начнем.

Большое спасибо Ольге за увлекательную экскурсию по нетуристическому Тель-Авиву. 2,5 часа пролетели незаметно в ненавязчивой прогулке и дружеской беседе. Нам показали обычный жилой Яффо, познакомили с его историей и бытом, провели по тем улицам, на которые не пришло бы, даже, в голову заглянуть. Ольга прекрасно владеет темой и чувствует Израиль. От души рекомендую эту экскурсию и этого экскурсовода.

Интересно - очень, познавательно - очень, любопытно - очень, приятно - очень. Ольга обаятельна, легка в общении, очень знающая тему, любящая свое дело и это было заразительно.
