Вы погуляете по Соборной горе — историческому, духовному и административному центру Плёса. Расположенная над матушкой-Волгой, она подарит вам живописные панорамы, воспетые Левитаном, поэтами и писателями. А я расскажу о местных достопримечательностях и наполненной трагедиями и взлетами многовековой истории волжского городка.

Завораживающий Плёс
Прогулка начнется у Троицкого храмового комплекса первой трети XIX века. Миновав южный крепостной вал Соборной горы, вы совершите настоящее путешествие во времени и окажетесь в средневековом Плёсе с древними дозорными крепостями. Именно здесь станут понятны усилия великого князя Василия I по созданию на Волге уникальной таможенно-оборонительной системы. Крутые склоны Соборной горы помогут вам воспарить над ремесленным Заречьем и восхититься тайным покоем и величием Петропавловской горы. А идиллическая архитектура времен Левитана — деревянная Воскресенская церковь, купеческие дома и церковь святой Варвары — ощутить очарование прошлых веков.

Плёс сквозь столетия
В западной части Соборной горы вы рассмотрите напоминающие об уездном статусе Плёса каменные палаты конца XVIII века и памятник Василию I. Кроме того, насладитесь видами древнейшего каменного храма города — Успения Пресвятой Богородицы — и услышите историю разрушенной церкви Казанской иконы Божией Матери. Завершится экскурсия на Базарной площади, где веками бился торговый пульс провинциального купеческого городка. Отличная экскурсия, очень понравилась. Андрей прекрасный рассказчик, влюбленный в свой город. Тонкое чувство юмора, структурированная подача материала, грамотная речь, длительность экскурсии. Все идеально. Обязательно вернемся в Плёс!

Замечательный рассказчик с отменными артистическими данными, Андрей влюбил нас в этот уютный милый городок. К сожалению ,наша экскурсия выпала на вечернее время поздней осенью: не удалось насладиться в полной мере светом и просторами , но тем не менее впечатление остались самые теплые. Спасибо большое!
