Наше экскурсия проходила а сильнейшую метель. Но не смотря ни на что, Михаил смог нам рассказать и показать всю историю и красоту этого маленького городка. Всем рекомендую посетить Юрьев-Польский, т.к. в нем находится один из самых красивейших храмов-Георгиевский Собор. Спасибо, Михаил, что не отменили экскурсию, мы её запомним надолго!!!

Описание
Маленький город Юрьев-Польский недалеко от Владимира славится старинной храмовой архитектурой и уютным центром с деревянными домами. Я проведу вас по улицам одного из непризнанных — но не менее значимых и красивых — городов Золотого кольца, расскажу историю его основания и помогу расшифровать уникальную резную живопись на стенах Георгиевского собора.
Что вас ожидает
Исторический центр города
Экскурсию начнем у памятника основателю города — Юрию Долгорукому, где я расскажу о том, как у Суздаля и Владимира появился сосед — Юрьев-Польский. Вы прогуляетесь по валам, где поговорим о том, как они были возведены и как в Юрьев-Польском появилась первая крепость. Вы узнаете об особенностях древнерусской церковной архитектуры, побывав в Георгиевском соборе и Михайло-Архангельском монастыре, основанном в XIII веке. А также увидите другие храмы, монастыри и памятники, которые нельзя пропустить в древнем городке.
Загадочные резные композиции
Георгиевский собор в центре Юрьев-Польского известен не столько своей древностью, сколько резными барельефами, не имеющими аналогов в России. На экскурсии вы в деталях рассмотрите изображения и разгадаете их смысл. Несмотря на постоянный интерес ученых, смысл далеко не всех сюжетов объяснен. Вместе мы погрузимся в древнерусское искусство и попробуем понять задумку удивительно красивой резьбы.
Организационные детали
В зимнее время экскурсия длится примерно 1,5 часа: за это время мы успеем пройти весь маршрут.
Посещение экспозиции в Георгиевском соборе – 100 рублей с человека.
При желании экскурсию можно провести на транспорте и расширить маршрут (например, включить в программу посещение усадьбы Голицыных и города Мстиславль). Продолжительность и стоимость такой программы уточняйте в переписке с гидом.

Михаил поразил нашу разношерстную компания (взрослые, подростки и активный дедушка), мы все в восторге. Будучи уже который раз в Суздале решили доехать до Юрьева-Польского по принципу - ну, посмотрим, что там такое. Через 2 часа с Михаилом были веселые, активные, готовые обсуждать между собой услышанное. Это про тональность экскурсии. Суть экскурсии и ее наполненность еще лучше. Михаил - очень грамотный историк. Ты понимаешь, что тебе не сказки рассказывают (что, увы, в Суздале случается), все точно, выверено, с источниками, без пустого залихватского - вот тут впервые, вот только здесь..... Умный, знающий, внимательный, корректный, с хорошо поставленной речью. Спасибо Михаилу за то, что мы теперь влюблены в Юрьев-Польский. Это недооцененная жемчужина, с Михаилом намного интереснее, чем просто искать слона на старинной церкви. Приезжайте в Юрьев-Польский - атмосферное, наполненное место

Замечательная экскурсия, отличный гид. Никогда раньше не слышала про город- большое упущение! Очень красивый Кремль, монастырь, впечатляющий храм 12 века с резьбой по камню- восхитительно! Очень интересная экскурсия. Обязательно к просмотру!
