Эта экскурсия станет погружением в эпоху джаза, очаровывавшем слушателей даже во времена гонений и запретов. Во время прогулки вы встретите старинные кинотеатры и здания, где жили и играли музыканты. Услышите о джаз-звездах — и музыку с их выступлений. А еще разберетесь, как Казань стала джазовой столицей России.

Мы из джаза
Мы начнем прогулку на улице Баумана — именно здесь находятся локации, связанные с историей джаза. Кинотеатры, в которых играли первые джазмены Казани; сцена, где давал концерты знаменитый оркестр Олега Лундстрема. «Джаз-Блюз-Рок клуб» — место, где началась целая эпоха в жизни казанского джаза и зародился фестиваль «Джазовый Перекресток». Я покажу, где жили знаковые фигуры джаза в нашем городе. И расскажу о них любопытные факты: например, о путешествиях Оркестра Лундстрема и выступлениях Виктора Деринга.

Почему джазмены играли в «подполье» и отчего джаз считали музыкой «неблагонадежных»? Как Казань оказалась претендентом на титул джазовой столицы Советского Союза? Что такое казанский «Шанхай»? Вы услышите ответы на эти вопросы и погрузитесь в историю джаза в нашей стране. А иллюстрациями к моему рассказу станут сочные композиции 50-60-х годов и фотографии из джазовой истории.
