Описание

Торопец — старейший город Тверской области и жемчужина края, надёжно спрятанная среди паутины дорог нашей страны. На его старинных улочках вы увидите место, где венчался Александр Невский. Услышите легенды Красного острова и откроете особенности торопецкого барокко. А также погрузитесь в купеческий быт 18 века и узнаете о ярких личностях, связанных с «городом адмиралов».

Что вас ожидает

Взгляд в далёкое прошлое
На экскурсии вы пройдёте путь от основания города до современности. Мы поднимемся на Малое городище, откуда открывается живописный вид на озеро Соломено. Отсюда начинается история города, здесь проходил торговый путь «из варяг в греки». Также вы посетите место венчания Александра Невского и полоцкой княжны, подарившей торопчанам Корсунскую икону Божией матери.

Путешествие по Красному острову
Мы отправимся в средневековый Торопец, во времена, когда город защищали кремлёвские стены. Вы откроете для себя самобытный архитектурный стиль — торопецкое плоскостное барокко. А также услышите легенды острова, которые покажут новые и неожиданные стороны города.

Торопец купеческий
На прогулке по центральной части города вы погрузитесь в купеческую жизнь и быт 18 века. Я расскажу о ключевых событиях торговой истории и ценностях города. Вы узнаете, почему Торопец называют «городом адмиралов», и познакомитесь с жизнью великих людей: патриарха Тихона, П. И. Рикорда, А. Н. Куропаткина, М. П. Мусоргского.

Прекрасная экскурсия для тех, кто ничего не знает о городе (как мы - кроме разрозненных интернетных сведений). Можно с собакой (для нас это важно). Неутомительная прогулка по основным достопримечательностям, экскурсовод обаятельная и с чувством юмора - это редко встречается. Однозначно рекомендую.
