А по пути услышите о связи капищ с псковскими церквями, следе Ливонского ордена, местных «Пяти углах» и «Уолл-стрит», загадке «Полутора капитанов» и это еще не все!

Секреты Гремячки
Знакомство с древним Псковом начнем в центре, у Гремячей башни, славной не только своей боевой историей, но и легендами. Вы узнаете, как это место связано с Пушкиным и как повлияло на творчество Гоголя. Я расскажу, почему холм, на котором стоит башня, на самом деле не холм, и для чего в Гремячке нижний уровень и бойницы у самой земли.

Истории святых мест
Полюбуемся храмами, вошедшими с список ЮНЕСКО (и не только). Вы услышите, почему в псковских церквях хранили запасы и порох, почему во французской деревушке рядом с готическим храмом выстроена часовня как две капли воды похожая на псковскую церковь Богоявления с Запсковья. Как храмы Василия на горке и Анастасии Римлянки связаны с выходцем из Ливонского ордена, а церковь Пресвятой Богородицы — с прекращением мора. Кроме того, я расскажу, почему все церкви в Пскове построены на месте языческих капищ.

Псков в удивительных деталях

  • У Покровской башни я расскажу о героическом сопротивлении псковичей войскам Стефана Батория: какую роль сыграл в нем воевода Шуйский, именем которого названа прилегающая к башне улица, и как помогла псковским воинам братия Псково-Печерского монастыря.
  • В центре города покажу, где в прошлые века был Гостиный двор, псковские «Пять углов» и наша «Уолл-стрит». И расскажу о второй поре расцвета Пскова в 19 веке: как предприимчивые горожане «делали деньги» из пара, кто такой знаменитый «псковский американец» и как он распространял водопровод по подписке.
  • Также вы узнаете о детстве Софьи Перовской и судьбоносном знакомстве, которое произошло во дворе губернаторского дома. Покажу, где принял постриг будущий патриарх Тихон. И где проходил службу в Пскове ссыльный Ульянов-Ленин.
  • А «на закуску» оставлю рассказы о том, почему памятник героям книги Каверина в народе называют «Полтора капитана», и какое отношение к появлению другого памятника, полководцу Кутузову, имел гастролирующий по стране авантюрист.

Огромная благодарность Денису за прекрасную экскурсию. Наша первая встреча с Псковом стала восхитительной. Город открывался нам с разных сторон и времен, мол, смотрите, какой я красивый, и старый и молодой, героический и уютный патриархальный. Какая долгая история, какие увлекательные истории. С Денисом прошли/проехали его три экскурсии! Они были очень интересными. Денис - великолепный организатор, эрудированный экскурсовод, виртуозный водитель, и, конечно, просто прекрасный человек! Он учел все наши пожелания организовал все Печорах посещение Богом зданных пещер, на протяжении всех маршрутов поддерживал и морально, искромётным юмором, и физически (было очень скользко, а ещё и так хромаю). Не смотря на суровую погоду (собачий холод при сильном ветре), время пролетало незаметно, получили массу интереснейшей информации в легкой непринужденной форме, ответы на все возникающие вопросы, находящиеся порой далеко за пределами заявленных тематик экскурсий. Если вы хотите, путешествуя по Пскову и окрестностям, приятно провести время в компании прекрасного рассказчика, любящего свой край, обладающего глубокими знаниями об его прошлом и настоящем, то вам точно к Денису! От души советуем!

Мы не первый раз в Пскове, были на разных экскурсиях и честно говоря готовились к тому, что вряд ли услышим много нового. Но Денис сумел показать знакомый нам город по-другому. Он настоящий знаток Пскова, великолепный рассказчик, классный профессионал. Слушать человека, который увлечен своим делом, - огромное удовольствие. Было здорово.
