Описание

На прогулке по историческим кварталам вы откроете самобытный музей уличной вывески и побываете на главных площадях Старого Рыбинска. Узнаете, где собирались бурлаки, крючники и извозчики. Услышите о купцах-меценатах и адмирале Ушакове. Погуляете по набережной и аллее с именами нобелевских лауреатов. А также познакомитесь с историей богатейшего монастыря Ярославской епархии.

Что вас ожидает

Памятники Крестовой улицы и Волжской набережной
Вы пройдете по музею классицизма и эклектики под открытым небом — улице Крестовой. Рассмотрите величественный ансамбль Спасо-Преображенского собора, купеческую Красную площадь, окруженную гостиными дворами и зданием новой хлебной биржи. Побываете на «Кресте», где в ожидании работы стояли не только бурлаки, но и крючники с ломовиками. Увидите самую высокую пожарную каланчу в России — памятник модерну. Также в программе: скульптура Остапа Бендера, памятники Бурлаку, Ф.Ф. Ушакову и купеческие дома 18 — начала 20 века.

Казанский конец
Об истоках города поговорим в одном из старейших районов города, который в прошлые века был бойким, многолюдным местом. Вы увидите дом семьи Андрея Сигсона, основателя микрофотографии, оцените впечатляющий памятник Людвигу Нобелю и погуляете по аллее с именами нобелевских лауреатов. А также узнаете, как Рыбинск связан с известными голливудскими киномагнатами.

Рассказы о прошлом и настоящем города
По пути я раскрою, какого императора у нас больше всех почитали и любили. Расскажу, где родился великий адмирал Ф.Ф. Ушаков и за что Русская православная церковь причислила его к лику святых. Разберемся, почему сгорела пожарная каланча и что случилось с богатейшим монастырем Ярославской епархии. И конечно, во время прогулки вы не только ощутите неторопливый ритм жизни провинциального города, но и узнаете, чем он живет сегодня.
