В нашей поездке не был запланирован город Шуя, но решили съездить, благо нужный день не был занят у экскурсовода Веры Шамовой. Не то что не пожалели, но хотим ещё приехать. Не побывали на колокольне Воскресенского собора, не было времени. В Храм зашли, иконе Богородицы Шуйской Смоленской поклонились. Конечно, отличный экскурсовод имеет огромное значение. Вера умеет рассказать и показать все достоинства в наилучшем виде. В Шуе сохранился исторический облик города, его атмосфера. Культурный центр "Павловский" , бывший дом фабриканта, купца и благотворителя, общественного деятеля Шуйского уезда, почётного гражданина города Шуи М.А. Павлова, обескураживает. Красивейший и богатейший особняк внутри и снаружи, всё сохранено. Расположены экспозиции костюмов, мыла и есть самый огромный кусок мыла. Кроме того, мы побывали в магазине ситца, музее мыла, сувенирной продукции. отведали вкуснейших пирожков, заехали на завод Шуйская водка 1899 г. Так всего много в небольшом провинциальном городе, который когда-то был не таким и сохранил свою славную историю. Рекомендуем.

Описание
Шуя — уютный город, который когда-то был уездным центром. Вы погуляете по Торговой улице, увидите Воскресенский собор и самую высокую отдельно стоящую колокольню в Европе. А я расскажу, как Шуя росла и развивалась, какие известные люди в ней бывали и чем она живет сегодня.

С Верой, после экскурсии по Иваново, мы отправились в Шую. По дороге слушали историю мест. В самом городе были в старинном купеческом доме, а железнодорожный вокзал как будто оживший кусочек старины - стоит отдельного посещения. Все очень понравилось и мы очень благодарны Вере за интересную экскурсию!
