В паре часов езды от Ульяновска находится удивительное место. В мезозойскую эру здесь плескался теплый океан Тетис, а во времена Волжской Булгарии сюда приезжали поправить здоровье ханы и князья. В 60-е годы начали активно исследовать минеральные источники Ундор, и теперь это общепризнанная поволжская здравница. Наше путешествие охватит ни много ни мало 90 млн лет. И это само по себе уже чудо.

Водные красоты Ульяновска
Встретившись в Ульяновске и выезжая из города, мы остановимся на Маришкином роднике, истоке спрятанной под землю р. Симбирки. Именно здесь возникла одна из самых красивых легенд Ульяновска история Симбирской русалочки. В пути мы проедем и мимо еще одной реки Ульяновска — Свияги, текущей параллельно р. Волге, но при этом в противоположном направлении.

Ундоровский палеонтологический музей
Здесь представлено более 250 уникальных образцов останков древних существ, сохранившихся еще с Мелового периода. Осматривая экспонаты, вы узнаете о видах динозавров, которые впервые были открыты именно в Ундорах. Увидите кости древних морских ящеров — ихтиозавров и плезиозавров, коллекции беспозвоночных — аммонитов и белемнитов, а также украшение выставки — юную самку эласмозавра, жившую 90 млн лет назад.

Лечебно-минеральная вода Ундор
Необычное название село унаследовало от сочетания татарских «ун» — десять и «дару» — исцеляющее средство, лекарство. И это не удивительно. Ведь на его территории издавна находится множество источников целебной воды. Поговорим о ее ценности, истории самого курорта и посетим как минимум пять родников, три из которых оборудованы купальнями.

Волжские просторы и следы доисторических времен
Далее мы отправимся на берег Волги, где вам откроются вдохновляющие пейзажи. Песок, сосны, ольха, дикие яблони, а также высокие обрывистые берега, шум волн, как у настоящего моря — все это дарит месту непередаваемый шарм. Но это еще не все: здесь вы не только полюбуетесь панорамами, но и почувствуете себя палеонтологами, отыскивая вымываемый Волгой симбирцит (разновидность кальцита, похож на янтарь) и окаменелых моллюсков — белемнитов. А еще сможете набрать чудодейственной голубой глины, которую местные используют для исцеления и даже в магических обрядах.

Женский монастырь Михаила Архангела
Завершим экскурсию остановившись в новой обители в селе Комаровка, построенной на холме, вокруг остова дореволюционного полуразрушенного храма. Вы погуляете по территории с прудом, садами, виноградниками. Услышите историю монастыря и сможете искупаться в оборудованной купели.

  • Отдельно оплачиваются билеты в Ундоровский палеонтологический музей — 200 ₽ за чел.
  • Музей не работает по понедельникам и вторникам: в случае брони в эти дни, гид покажет вам собственную коллекцию окаменелостей.

Были на экскурсии, нас сопровождал гид Григорий. Гид отлично знает материал, а также интересный собеседник. Особенно понравилось то, что он с легкостью согласился немного поменять маршрут) Хоть мы сами из Ульяновска, открыли для себя что-то новое и интересное. Особенно понравилась часть поиска окаменелостей и симбирцита на берегу Волги.

Замечательная познавательная экскурсия. Возможность познакомиться не только с городом Ульяновск, но и областью, замечательными, увлеченными своим делом людьми. Узнали больше о прошлом Земли, связанном с нашей страной. Спасибо гиду Григорию за теплую атмосферу поездки и интересную информацию.
