Описание

Музейная миля — улицы и кварталы с крупнейшими музеями города — существует во многих мегаполисах. Теперь она есть и в Москве! Приглашаю вас исследовать новый арт-маршрут, соединяющий два берега Москвы-реки. По пути мы полюбуемся панорамами столицы, обсудим, как и кем были созданы знаменитые галереи искусств, а также разберёмся, какие из них вошли в «музейную четвёрку».

Что вас ожидает

Москва — одна из музейных столиц мира. Среди более чем 400 музеев самые известные — Пушкинский и Третьяковская галерея. Теперь это уже настоящие музейные городки: отстраиваются новые корпуса, реставрируются прилегающие исторические здания. Каждый из них хранит истории со времён отцов-основателей, стоявших у истоков столичного «музейного бума». А рядом с этими знаменитыми музеями появляются новые арт-пространства — например, Дом культуры ГЭС-2. О том, как продолжается славная «история искусств» и кого нужно за это благодарить, мы тоже поговорим.

По пути от Главного здания ГМИИ им. А. С. Пушкина через ГЭС-2 до зданий Третьяковской галереи в Лаврушинском переулке я расскажу:

  • когда в Москве был открыт первый музей,
  • какой музей разместился в знаменитом Доме Пашкова,
  • кем и для чего был построен «русский терем» на Пречистенской набережной,
  • как создавался учебный музей слепков Московского университета, выросший в Музей изящных искусств имени императора Александра III,
  • как семейный купеческий особняк превратился в первую галерею русского искусства,
  • и многое другое.
