Описание

Для многих путешественников Сортавала — перевалочный пункт, с которого дальше отправляются по живописным маршрутам Карелии. Моя задача — показать, что наш город более чем достоин внимания. На улочках со старинной застройкой расскажу, как наследие трех стран сформировало особый сортавальский облик и дух, раскрою северные легенды и помогу ощутить обаяние города.

Что вас ожидает

Путешествие по городу начнётся в центре. Расскажу, как история трёх стран — России, Швеции, Финляндии — повлияла на становление и развитие Сортавалы. Вы увидите крупнейший остров Ладожского озера и узнаете, почему его название переводят как «Греческий остров». Гуляя по самым старым улочкам города, обсудим, почему все площади в городе треугольные. Также я познакомлю вас с легендой о выборе места основания города. И подскажу, как правильно загадать желание у нашего волшебного камня.

На примере знаковых зданий города вы научитесь различать архитектурные стили начала прошлого века. Задержимся у построек Уно Ульберга и попробуем разглядеть в современном здании Сеурахуоне первоначальный вариант, в котором увидел гостиницу Николай Рерих. Кроме того, объясню, как памятник рунопевцу связан с Атлантами Эрмитажа. Вместе мы прочитаем знаки старинных зданий. И послушаем сортавальскую музыку, застывшую в камне.

Сордавала-Сердоболь-Сортавала
Как перевести название города на современный язык? Что обозначает старое русское название города — Сердоболь? Можно ли склонять современное название? Как легенды объясняют происхождение имён города? На эти и другие вопросы отвечу во время нашей прогулки.

Если захотите, завершим экскурсию в выставочном зале К. А. Гоголева, где представлено уникальное собрание деревянных картин.

Идеальная экскурсия по Сортавала для семей с детьми! Огромная благодарность Елене за прекрасную экскурсию! Нас было две семьи с детьми разного возраста, и все получили удовольствие. Взрослые узнали много интересных фактов, а дети с удовольствием разгадывали загадки на интуицию. Даже внезапный дождь не помешал - наоборот, добавил атмосферности и особого карельского колорита.
