Описание

В глубине ладожских шхер, на берегу залива Ляппяярви, расположился город Сортавала. Три раза он менял своё название, так как в разное время принадлежал Швеции, Финляндии и России. С помощью архивных фотографий, которые я возьму с собой, мы с вами перенесёмся в его прошлое. Вы узнаете, когда город начал активно развиваться и кто подарил ему такой уникальный облик.

Что вас ожидает

С конца 19 века Сортавала начала активно развиваться: именно в этот период она стала центром торговли, образования, промышленности. Для строительства новых зданий — банков, школ, жилых домов — приглашались лучшие архитекторы. Благодаря ним город и получился таким необычным. Неспешно прогуливаясь по улочкам, мы с вами изучим главные достопримечательности. Вы увидите:

  • Изысканное деревянное здание ратуши
  • Монументальное и поражающее своей красотой здание Финляндского банка
  • Похожие на средневековые замки дом Леандера и дом купца Сийтонени

А также услышите чудесную музыку, что звучит в струнах кантеле Рунопевца.

По пути я расскажу вам об удивительных людях, которые проживали здесь и внесли огромный вклад в развитие и облик города: это и первый бургомистр, и меценаты, и простые жители. А дополню свой рассказ серией старинных фото.

Очень познавательная экскурсия. Благодаря Наталье узнали о городе много нового, познакомились с архитектурой и прогулялись по историческому центру. А после отправились на вечерний променад смотреть город с подсветкой!

Наталья выросла в Сортавале и любит ее всем сердцем, это чувствуется в каждом слове. Много внимания было уделено истории возникновения города, очень много архитектуре (а для меня это самое интересное). Наталья берет с собой на экскурсию архивные фотографии города, и можно сравнить современное и историческое состояние зданий: чувствуешь себя практически исследователем )) Спасибо большое Наталье за яркое знакомство с городом!
