Описание

В древности монастыри служили не только святой обителью, но и сторожами города. Донской монастырь был одним из тех, что сыграли важную роль в защите Москвы от набегов татар. Вы погрузитесь в прошлое, изучая знаковые постройки комплекса. Откроете любопытнейшие детали, на которые могли бы не обратить внимание. И осознаете, что находитесь в совершенно особенной точке на карте столицы.

Что вас ожидает

Небольшая прогулка по окрестностям
Мы пройдём по одной из старейших слобод города, Шаболовской. Я покажу, где встречали посланцев из Ирана с великими дарами для царя Михаила Федоровича и его отца Святейшего Патриарха Филарета. Поговорим о причинах строительства Земляного города вокруг Москвы. А также о крепостных стенах и их отличиях от других подобных сооружений в монастырях.

История монастыря
Вы узнаете, что определило место его основания и название. Представите жизнь обители во времена Смуты, Чумного бунта, наполеоновского лихолетья и советской власти. Обсудим, как с течением времени изменился монастырь и как живёт сейчас.

Донской в деталях
Вы увидите единственную действующую мировареную печь в России (миро — благовонное масло). Я расскажу, что построили на месте походного алтаря русского войска под предводительством Бориса Годунова. Исследуем загадочный портрет в иконостасе Малого собора. Посмотрим остатки барельефов взорванного храма Христа Спасителя. А также поднимемся на одну из башен крепостных стен и рассмотрим территорию сверху.

Знаменитые и малоизвестные захоронения
В церкви Сретения Господня вы посетите усыпальницу грузинских царей и узнаете, почему они захоронены здесь. Пройдём в усыпальницу Голицыных и поговорим о той самой «Пиковой даме». Изучим всю типологию надгробий на прогулке по главному кладбищу высшего русского дворянства и богатого купечества. Кроме того, вас ждёт рассказ о патриархе Тихоне и о том, как с ним связан Донской монастырь. Можно будет подойти к его мощам.

Хочу выразить огромную благодарность нашему гиду Ирине за эту замечательную экскурсию! Её профессионализм, харизма и глубокие знания сделали этот день по-настоящему особенным. Ирина отвечала на все вопросы, делилась интересными фактами, которые не найдешь в путеводителях, и создала такую дружелюбную атмосферу, что мы чувствовали себя как на прогулке с давним другом. Прекрасная экскурсия в Донской монастырь. Ирина - экскурсовод потрясающая, все очень понятно и доступно рассказывает, вовлекая вас в историю. Виды с башни просто потрясающие, сад на территории монастыря прекрасен, сад роскошных роз оставляет отдельное прекрасное впечатление, Большой собор бесподобен. Вчера мы погрузились в красоту в центре Москвы и прекрасно провели время. Нам очень понравилось, обязательно рекомендую к посещению, приходите, вы не пожалеете!

Сегодня посетили данную экскурсию и остались в полном восторге! Ирина учла все наши просьбы, подстраивалась под наш темп, корректировала маршрут под маму, которая ходит с трудностями. Материал подан очень доступно, не перегружен лишними датами. Даже не заметили как пролетело время, было очень интересно и увлекательно, много фактов, которые не узнаешь из учебника. Спасибо большое!

Рекомендую эту экскурсию как для интеллектуалов, профессионалов, воцерковленных, так и для интересующихся людей. Ирина глубоко в теме, хорошо знает историю и легко преподносит материал. Рассказывает много интересных фактов. Время проходит незаметно, легко. От экскурсии не устаешь и узнаешь много нового. Однозначно стоит выбрать эту экскурсию, я очень довольна.
