Описание

Мумбаи — город, способный удивить даже искушённого путешественника! Здесь соседствуют трущобы и небоскребы, роскошь и нищета. Вы увидите его парадную часть: «Ворота Индии», шикарный отель «Тадж-Махал» и богемный район Кала Года. А также съездите на пароме на старинный остров Элефанта, известный пещерными храмовыми комплексами.

Что вас ожидает

Мумбаи, прогулка на пароме и остров Элефанта
Вы погуляете по центру города и посетите старинный остров Элефанта, расположенный всего в 10 км от Мумбаи. В программе экскурсии:

  • «Ворота Индии» — визитная карточка города. Я расскажу, когда и в честь какого события они были возведены.
  • Отель «Тадж-Махал» — я покажу вам самый роскошный отель Мумбаи, когда-то ставший первым электрифицированным зданием Индии. Вы узнаете, какая забавная история предшествовала его строительству и как его хозяину удалось опередить конкурентов.
  • Квартал Кала Года — мы посетим самый богемный район города, где расположились бутики модной одежды, рестораны высокой кухни, музеи и галереи. Вы увидите, чем живет современный индийский мегаполис.
  • Остров Элефанта — на пароме мы отправимся из Мумбаи к маленькому острову в Аравийском море. Вы услышите его историю и посетите пещерный храмовый комплекс, высеченный монахами в 5-8 веках. А также узнаете о боге Шиве, которому он посвящён.

Организационные детали

  • Чтобы попасть в пещеры на острове Элефанта, нужно преодолеть непростой подъем в 100 ступеней. Экскурсия не подойдет путешественникам с маленькими детьми и людям с ограниченными физическими возможностями.
  • Дополнительные расходы: паром — 260 рупий с человека, пещеры на острове — 600 рупий с человека. Также путешественники оплачивают билеты для гида.

Посетили замечательную экскурсию в пещеры Элефанта с прекрасным гидом Анисой. Впечатления просто потрясающие! Аниса очень увлечённо всю дорогу рассказывала нам про историю Индии и Бомбея-Мумбаи, о мифологии и религии, видно, что она очень глубоко знает материал, плюс просто очень увлечена своей работой. Помогла нам выбрать сувениры, ответила на все интересующие вопросы. Да просто рассказ был очень интересным и пончтным. Огромное ей спасибо за отличную экскурсию по городу и на сам остров

Отличная экскурсия от отличного гида Анисы! Ездили по делам в командировку и решили узнать Мумбаи ближе в свободное время, Аниса провела отличную экскурсию как по острову, так и по старой части города; помогла найти оставшиеся подарки для коллег и даже добраться до отеля. Рассказ был очень интересным и было сразу видно, что человек любит свою работу и этот город. Советую всем, кто намечает путешествие в Индию, в данный штат, посетить данный тур.
