Экскурсия с Еленой стала главным событием нашего недолгого отдыха. И познавательно, и интересно, а главное - это индивидуальный подход к гостям. Елена учла все наши пожелания: время, скорость подъема в горы, небольшие переходы, время на отдых. Не секрет, что гиды годами выстраивают отношения с хозяевами кафе и разными маленькими бизнесами. В случае в Еленой видно, что эти отношения перешли в нечто большее. В уважение друг к другу, а главное - в уважение к общим гостям. Мне очень важны глубокие знания по истории предмета. Вернувшись, я уже несколько раз пересказала детали истории острова, которые не очень-то найдешь в интернете. Если бы меня спросили, можно ли рекомендовать Елену, то ответ однозначный: "Нужно!"

Описание
Дегустация национальной кухни – это одна из важнейших составляющих любой поездки. Предлагаю вам не просто отобедать в настоящей деревенской таверне, а проехать по тем местам, где создаются традиционные кипрские деликатесы, узнать историю этих мест и кулинарных традиций.
Что вас ожидает
В кипрских тавернах вы наверняка не раз пробовали традиционные копчености из свинины: хиромери, луканика, бастурма, лунза, бекон и прочие. Мы посетим деревенскую коптильню, где вы увидите, как готовят все эти деликатесы. Здесь вы сможете попробовать их не из целлофановых упаковок, а свежайшие, то есть буквально снятые «с пылу, с жару». К мясу хозяин винодельни обычно подает домашнее красное вино и забористую деревенскую зеванию.
Горная деревня Агрос славится полями дамасских роз – прекрасных цветов, известных утонченным ароматом. Мы посетим «Розовую фабрику», где вы увидите, как из лепестков изготавливают сиропы, чай, розовую воду, ликёр, душистые свечи и мыло. Это место уникально тем, что только здесь на основе натурального розового масла изготавливают косметику: лосьоны, кремы, маски, аромомасла, пилинги, гели для душа и даже духи.
В кипрских тавернах на десерт обычно подают сладости глика – сваренные в сахарном сиропе фрукты, баклажаны, арбузные корочки, корочки цитрусовых, молодые грецкие орехи и т.д. Всего существует около 50 видов глика! Мы посетим фабрику «Nikis», где нам покажут, как готовят эти сладости, и угостят ими.
После этого мы поднимемся выше в горы, чтобы пообедать в традиционной семейной таверне в деревне Омодос. Здесь можно отведать уникальное кипрское мезе!
После обеда мы прогуляемся по живописной деревне и заглянем в старые винодельни, где вы сможете продегустировать различные сорта кипрских вин, а также знаменитый кипрский мускат, коммандарию и зеванию.

- В стоимость экскурсии включены дегустации и трансфер из городов Лимассол и Ларнака. Трансфер из Пафоса, Айя-Напы и Протараса возможен с доплатой — €50.

Экскурсия полностью соответствует описанию, большой плюс, что можно начать из любой точки Кипра, Елена очень хорошо водит автомобиль. Что не понравилось: впервые встречаем гида, который не спрашивая разрешения присоединиться к туристам на обед, садится за стол без приглашения. В экскурсии написано обед по желанию и за дополнительную плату, однако не сказано, что туристы оплачивают обед и гида тоже...конечно туристы могут пригласить гида на обед и даже угостить, но это наше право благодарности а не необязанность! На следующий день у нас была ещё одна поездка, которую мы согласовали в первый день. Все входные билеты за себя (условия экскурсии, полность согласны)...и ВСЕ входные билеты за Елену оплачивали мы?!? Не хотелось портить настроение и выяснять отношения, но осадок остался крайне неприятный! В обед история повторилась....обед за наш счёт и без приглашения....Вечером, когда мы остановились на кофе и восточные сладости и сидели обсуждали наши планы, Елена подсела за наш стол со своим заказом...ну ведь не выгонять человека в такой ситуации?!? Оплата разумеется была за нами......положительные впечатления от обеих экскурсий были перекрыты бесцеремонностью Елены полностью!
