Старая Гатчина встретит вас замком на берегу озера, пейзажным парком, Большим дворцом и удивительными историями. Как связано это место с мальтийскими рыцарями? Что такое приорат и какие ритуалы в нём проводились? Зачем во дворце сделан подземный ход и что за письмо Павел I оставил для последнего императора России? Где, как не здесь, в Гатчине, искать ответы на эти вопросы!

Что вас ожидает

По дороге в Гатчину
Наше путешествие начнётся от легендарной площади Победы. По пути мы изучим верстовые столбы и поговорим о важности дорог, связующих Санкт-Петербург и летние резиденции. Проезжая Пулковскую обсерваторию, расскажу о её вкладе в мировую науку. Также вы увидите памятник «Жертвам нацистского геноцида» — мемориальный комплекс, открытый в январе 2024 года.

Прогулка по старому городу
Первое, что вы заметите при подъезде к Гатчине, это Ингербургские ворота. Минуя их, окажемся в историческом центре города, где проедем вдоль купеческих особняков, легенды о которых я вам расскажу.

Дворцовый парк
Нас встретит плац перед дворцом, который удивит своим размером. Я поясню, зачем он окружён рвом и Бастионной стеной. Здесь же поздороваемся с хозяином — первым в России памятником Павлу I. Далее нас ждут Верхний и Нижний Голландские сады с редкими шедеврами монументального искусства.

Разумеется, мы погуляем по живописному пейзажному парку вдоль озёр, прудов и рек. Вы оцените скульптуры и малые архитектурные формы, найдёте загадочные каменные столбы от Адмиралтейства и узнаете, какие корабли и для чего здесь строились. Увидите павильон Венеры на острове Любви и портал «Маска» — монументальное каменное сооружение, похожее на парадное крыльцо перед дворцом. Он скрывает расположенный рядом Берёзовый домик — павильон-сюрприз, чтобы «привести в нечаянное удивление» посетителей.

Большой Гатчинский дворец
Вы услышите историю его создания, перестроек и знаменитых хозяев. Изучите парадные залы и самое загадочное место — подземный ход. Обязательно прикоснётесь к тайне письма с пророчеством для последнего императора.

Сказать, что мне все очень понравилось - этого не достаточно! Я в восхищении! И от организатора-экскурсовода Игоря (его знаний материала, ориентации на группу, умения, увлекательности и стилизованности подачи информации), и от поданного материала (многое узнал и углубил свои знания по этому периоду истории), и от мест, посещенных во время путешествия во времени. Обязательно вновь буду обращаться к Игорю для посещения множества интересных мест в районе Питера!

Замечательно, увлекательно, познавательно. Пять часов пролетели незаметно. Было жаль расставаться, хотелось услышать и узнать что-то ещё новое, интересное, неожиданное. Игорь, прекрасный рассказчик. Он поразил нас своим глубоким знанием истории. Множество фактов, исторических событий и персонажей, связанных с историей Гатчинского дворца и его обитателей. Их мысли, чувства, поступки. Дворцовые тайны, интриги и перевороты. Всего не расскажешь в рамках этого отзыва. Сходите на экскурсию с Игорем, обязательно сходите.

Экскурсия просто замечательная, рекомендую. Игорь отлично владеет материалом и очень увлекательно рассказывает. Потрясающе красивый парк, секреты которого остались бы не раскрытыми, если бы не рассказ гида. Во дворце Игорь также был с нами, тогда как зачастую в таких местах туристов отставляют на музейного гида в большой группе или же на самостоятельный осмотр. Большое спасибо Игорю за интересный, красивый, хорошо организованный тур!

Пишу отзыв с опазданием, но это не влияет на оценку 🫶 с Игорем эта была четвёртая экскурсия и, как все предыдущие, на одном дыхании. Человек большой эрудиции, внимания и души 😁 если выбирать экскурсии, из тех которые представлены у него в профиле, то только с этим человеком! Все четыря (экскурсии) дня были для нас прекрасным времяпрепровождением, вливанием знаний на лайте и положительно-приятным послевкусием. Спасибо большое Вам за эти впечатления!
