Описание

Равенна была не просто свидетельницей распада Римской империи, а его участницей. Я укажу вам на отпечатки великих эпох, которые хранят городские стены. По архитектурным элементам зданий мы прочитаем историю борьбы за власть. А из разноцветных мозаик сложим рассказ о библейских событиях и торжестве христианства.

Что вас ожидает

Архитектурные детали расскажут нам о непростой судьбе Равенны, которая за 200 лет трижды становилась столицей разных государств. За строгими стенами базилик вы обнаружите удивительные византийские мозаики. По различиям в оформлении сюжетов поймёте, как великие культуры плавно перетекали одна в другую. И прочувствуете главный сюжет городской архитектуры — христианский постулат о важности внутренней красоты. Разница между строгостью стен и величием убранства ошеломит вас и, возможно, наполнит благоговением.

Мы посетим:

  • Базилику Сант-Аполлинаре-Нуово. Поговорим о соперничестве двух христианских течений в одном интерьере.
  • Базилику Сан-Витале. Расшифруем государственный подтекст в символах.
  • Мавзолей Галлы Плацидии. Рассмотрим сочетание христианских символов и римских традиций.
  • Баптистерий Неона. Увидим золотое свечение византийских мозаик.
  • Гробницу Данте. Вспомним «Божественную комедию» и строки русского поэта, посвящённые великому итальянцу.
