Мы отлично провели день — экскурсия полностью оправдала ожидания. Описание
В 1,5 часах езды от Афин в провинции Ахея находится живописное ущелье, в скальных тропах которого прокрадывается маленький поезд. Его маршрут — историческое наследие региона. Вы проедете по рельсам сквозь горы и заберётесь на головокружительную высоту. А также увидите два моря с Коринфского канала, посетите православную святыню — Великопещерный монастырь Богородицы с чудотворными иконами.
Что вас ожидает
Дорога из Афин к Ахее
Мы прибудем из Афин к ущелью на машине, по дороге сделав остановку на Коринфском канале — из этой точки открывается вид на два моря сразу. По пути я расскажу, когда была открыта железная дорога в Ахее, с какой скоростью едет поезд и какой высоты достигает.
Зубчатая железная дорога
На поезде вы поедете самостоятельно, любуясь водопадами и скальными тоннелями. Иногда угол наклона поезда будет доходить до 30–40° — и это невероятные ощущения.
Великопещерный монастырь Богородицы
Я встречу вас в конце железнодорожного путешествия и вместе на машине мы отправимся в Великопещерный монастырь Богородицы на отвесной скале. Вы рассмотрите чудотворные православные иконы, а я расскажу их истории.

- Билеты на поезд включены в стоимость экскурсии. Я куплю их вам заранее
- Путь на поезде занимает 50–60 минут. На поезде можно подняться наверх или спуститься вниз — график поездов в разные дни разный. Монастырь находится на горе, мы его посетим до или после поездки на поезде.
- Дополнительные расходы — обед (по желанию) перед отправлением в Афины в горном городке Калаврита
- Поездка проходит на автомобиле Škoda Superb

Прекрасно провели день в комфортабельной поездке с Алексеем! Он продумывает самые мелкие детали маршрута, искусно совмещая экскурсионную программу со свободным временем для клиентов. Во время переездов Алексей рассказал нам множество историй о войнах, политиках и философах древней Греции, а также (мы попросили) о периоде правления Османской империи. Так что, рекомендуем!

Больше всего в экскурсии мне понравился гид. Тонкий, образованный, умный человек, имеющий своё аргументированное мнение. Приятная беседа. Не грузил лишней информацией, давал время походить самим. 1. Чистая комфортная машина 2. Хорошая организация - всё четко по времени, интересный маршрут, прекрасные виды и прекрасно проведенное время 3. Понравился поезд по ущелью 4. Греция прекрасна
