Описание

Познакомьтесь с почти 200-летней историей Сайменского канала! На современном катере вы пройдёте по каналу и узнаете, как эта водная артерия длиной в тысячу вёрст соединила Петербург с Саймой и повлияла на экономику Восточной Финляндии в 19 веке. Полюбуетесь карельской природой и, если повезёт, увидите шлюзование корабля.

Что вас ожидает

Сайменский канал до сих пор остаётся важной транспортной артерией. Вы пройдёте по старинному шлюзу Лавола 1856 года и осмотрите действующий шлюз «Брусничное». Если будет удачный момент, застанете завораживающий процесс шлюзования корабля.

Рядом с «Брусничным» находится старинный шлюз «Юстила», который выглядит как великолепный каскадный водопад. Сейчас он используется для слива воды. Вы осмотрите его, а ещё потрясающие виды карельской природы, которые откроются с борта катера.
