Описание
Приглашаю вас на экскурсию по второму по величине музею после Лувра и самому популярному в Великобритании. Его экспонаты рассказывают историю человечества, охватывающую два миллиона лет, от первых известных нам объектов, созданных руками людей, к началу городской цивилизации и до памятников эпохи Просвещения. Мы отправимся в города шумеров и царства Древнего Египта, поговорим о вавилонских дворцах, рассмотрим ассирийские рельефы, оценим масштаб статуй Галикарнасского мавзолея, входившего в семёрку чудес света. И это только малая часть нашей программы.
Что вас ожидает
Объекты Британского музея рассказывают глобальную историю древности как серию захватывающих историй, которые часто пересекаются друг с другом. Мы вместе попытаемся услышать эти истории.
- Мы расшифруем рельефы афинского Парфенона, который классическое искусствоведение считало колыбелью европейского искусства (и обсудим, почему это не так).
- Отметим высочайший художественный реализм ассирийских художников, изобразивших охоту на львов в 7-м веке до н.э., и увидим первую «декларацию» прав человека, написанную клинописью на глиняном цилиндре.
- Внимательно рассмотрим Розетский камень, позволивший расшифровать египетские иероглифы, тайна которых была утеряна в течение почти двух тысяч лет.
- Уделим внимание образцам самой ранней письменности и попытаемся понять, как в поэзии складывались известные нам мифы о потопе и Вавилонской башне.

- Найдём множество драгоценных кладов, среди которых один выделяется особенно — в нём был захоронен великолепный шлем загадочного древнего царя, жившего почти полторы тысячи лет назад.
- Поговорим о людях, построивших Стоунхендж, и попытаемся развенчать миф о «тёмных веках».
- Познакомимся с уникальными шахматными фигурками из слоновой кости, созданными тысячу лет назад потомками викингов.
- Вы увидите один из лучших образцов новгородской иконы 15 века — «Георгия Победоносца на чёрном коне» и роскошные часы 16 века, музыку к которым написал Мартин Лютер.
- Кроме того, коснёмся следов цивилизации ацтеков и майя и рассмотрим хрустальный череп, который фигурирует в фильмах об Индиане Джонсе.

Мы отправились на экскурсию в Британский музей с детьми 9-ти лет. Лена смогла вызвать интерес детей, удержать их внимание на 2,5 часа! Было очень интересно не только детям, но и взрослым! Жаль, что мы уезжаем, так бы с удовольствием отправились с Еленой на экскурсию в Национальную галерею! Спасибо огромное и до новых встреч!
