Есть в Твери необычный район — Мещанская слобода. Найти его на карте без подсказки получится не у всех, зато почувствовать себя местным здесь сможет каждый! Мы познакомим вас с купеческими династиями, городскими благотворителями и владелицей первого синематографа. Научим определять дом, где всех визитёров встречали «прихожей» рюмочкой, ходить по городу «козлом» и правильно сервировать рождественский стол.

Что вас ожидает

Мещанская слобода — заповедный уголок Твери, который с каждым годом становится всё меньше. Гуляя по узким улочкам, любуясь деревянными домами и резными наличниками, вы ощутите ускользающий дух старого города. А он, словно шкатулку с чудесами, откроет перед вами свои секреты.

  • На Московской площади (без площади!) вас встретят «модерновый» католический костёл и татарская соборная мечеть в новомавританском стиле. Вы узнаете про татарский «шурум-бурум» и немецкие ренсковые погреба. Научитесь пить пиво по-тверски. Увидите сохранившуюся водонапорную башню первого городского водопровода и «дворянские» общественные бани.
  • На Пушкинской площади (без Пушкина!) постараемся найти остатки площади Детских садиков и купеческие цветники палисадов.
  • Пивоварский переулок откроет вам тверское «Ласточкино гнездо» — частный театр купчихи Копыловой, где снимался фильм «Статский советник».
  • А улица Гальянова (ныне Пушкинская) приоткроет дверь в еврейскую синагогу начала 20 века.
  • По этой улице вы догуляете до фешенебельной гостиницы итальянца Пабло Гальяни с бильярдом, ресторацией и залом для игры в карты. В этом заведении тверские купчихи проматывали целые состояния своих мужей.
  • На пешеходной Трёхсвятской улице — местном Арбате — вы изучите историю по архитектурным элементам уходящего тверского барокко. И, если пожелаете, прикупите знаменитые тверские «наполеонки», мармелад и зефир.

Очень понравилась экскурсия. Благодарим гида Александру за увлеченность историей родного города, за великолепную подачу материала, без ненужных деталей, которые зачастую усложняют восприятие материала и утомляют. Было так интересно и увлекательно, что время пролетело незаметно. Не хотелось, чтобы экскурсия заканчивалась. Обязательно вернемся на другие экскурсии с этим гидом.

Очень интересная экскурсия. Замечательный экскурсовод Марина рассказала и показала много интересного. Мы забыли о времени, несмотря на плохую погоду. Были учтены все наши пожелания. Обязательно постараемся встретиться с Мариной еще раз. Рекомендуем всем, кто хочет влюбиться в Тверь, обращаться к Марине.

Экскурсовод Александра рассказывала эмоционально, информативно в меру. Было интересно и 70-летним и 18летним. Советую тем, кто интересуется архитектурой и религией. Никаких»жареных фактов» или исторических анекдотов.
