Описание

«Лабиринт» в фавеле Таварез Бастос — одна из самых популярных и колоритных локаций в городе. В течение 40 лет здесь формировалось особое культурное пространство, напоминающее стиль Антонио Гауди. Место также известно джаз-баром, рестораном индийской кухни и фантастическими видами на Рио. Вы узнаете, как создавалась эта атмосферная галерея, и оцените панорамы знаменитых достопримечательностей.

Экскурсия по арт-галерее
Вы познакомитесь с историей места и поймёте символику его названия. Услышите о создателе проекта английском художнике Бобе Надкарни и других авторах работ, приехавших сюда из разных уголков мира. Полюбуетесь пейзажами Рио, заливом Гуанабара и горой Сахарная голова, изображённой также на многих панелях галереи.

Безопасное посещение
Основанное в 1981 году пространство на три года было закрыто из-за подозрения на риск обрушения. Но в мае 2022 года, после ремонта, культурный центр вновь открыл двери с одобрения местных властей, к счастью своих многочисленных поклонников. Арт-галерея находится на территории фавелы Таварес Бастос, в районе Катете, в южной зоне Рио. С 2000 года здесь находится штаб-квартира BOPE (Батальон специальных полицейских операций), и фавела относится к числу пасифицированных.
