Описание

Никосия — уникальный город, где древности бронзовой эпохи соседствуют с венецианскими стенами 16 века и современными архитектурными шедеврами от Захи Хадид и Жана Нувеля. Вы прогуляетесь по главным улицам столицы Кипра, рассмотрите скульптуры, мечеть и дворец. А я расскажу, что олицетворяет местная статуя Свободы и как связано название города с тополями.

Что вас ожидает

  • Вы пройдёте по части периметра венецианских стен и главной площади города — Элефтерии. Узнаете, что находилось здесь 4000 лет назад и почему изначально город назвали Лефкосией — из-за белых стен, тополиных деревьев или царя Лефкаса.
  • Рассмотрите несколько скульптурных композиций, в том числе монумент Свободы, а также старинный акведук, ворота Фамагусты, мечеть и турецкий хамам 16 века
  • Зайдёте в камерный музей народного творчества в старом здании дворца Архиепископа. Рассмотрите православные церкви старого города и концептуальный проект нового комплекса муниципалитета.
  • Заберётесь на смотровую площадку башни Шаколис на пешеходной улице Лидра и полюбуетесь городом — его северной и южной частями — с высоты

  • По желанию можно пройти через КПП в северную часть города. При себе нужно иметь паспорт и визу Кипра.

Живем уже несколько лет на Кипре, но в этот раз возникла идея прогуляться по Никосии с гидом + показать маме город. Получилась отличная прогулка - спасибо большое Елене за отличную экскурсию. Посмотрели все основные места в Никосии. Небольшой музей - must have к посещению, просто класс!
