Экскурсия была спланировано отлично! Маршрут продуман! Мы выбрали опцию самостоятельного трансфера из/в аэропорт Риги. Общение было непринужденным и информативным. Время пролетело незаметно. Описание
Если вы в Риге проездом, у вас есть от 3 часов свободного времени и желание познакомиться с нашим городом, предлагаю не оставаться в аэропорту, а погулять по узким, уютным рижским улочкам и послушать мой рассказ об истории и архитектуре Риги.
Маршрут
Я встречу вас в аэропорту и привезу в Старую Ригу. Здесь начнется наша пешая прогулка: средневековые церкви, башни, домик последнего рижского палача, Шведские ворота, Ратушная площадь, ослепительный в своей красоте Дом Черноголовых и любимая рижанами церковь Святого Петра. Шкодливые черные кошки, задравшие хвосты и сорока-ведьма, притаившаяся на одном из домов “Старушки”.
Наша экскурсия продолжится в сквере у Латвийской Национальной Оперы, где вы увидите один из самых красивых и необычных памятников Риги и услышите об одном из выдающихся рижский градоначальников — Д. Армистеде. Время его правления считается самым успешным периодом в истории Риги. Ослепительные кварталы Югендстиля, автомобильный завод, павильоны Центрального рынка, Рижский зоопарк, школы и больницы — все это заслуга Джорджа Армистеда.
Но нас сегодня интересует прежде всего рижский модерн, и потому наша прогулка продолжится по парку Кронвальда в сторону улицы Альберта, где почти каждый дом завораживает красотой и заслуживает отдельного рассказа. Зловещие сфинксы; маски, перекошенные гримасой ужаса и боли; безразличные боги, взирающие на нас с высоты; атланты и легкие, грациозные женские фигурки; неумолимые валькирии и крылатые львы. Фантазия Михаила Эйзенштейна, его изобретательность и мастерство заслуживают восхищения и именно его творения привлекают тысячи туристов на улицу Альберта. Я расскажу вам о судьбе архитектора и о его маленьких секретах, которые стали одной из причин резкого прекращения архитектурной карьеры.
Во время экскурсии вы узнаете, когда и кем был основан город; почему на башнях рижских храмов сидят петушки; где протекала и куда исчезла речка, давшая название нашему городу; о загадочных Черноголовых; где снимались эпизоды фильмов “17 мгновений весны” и “Приключения Шерлока Холмса и доктора Ватсона”; почему черный кот с задранным хвостом стал одним из символов Риги; о чем должны напоминать зловещие маски на церкви св. Иоанна; почему неприметный мостик через городской канал называют “8 чудо света”.
При возможности (если позволит время) мы насладимся обедом в одном из рижских ресторанов или попробуем прекрасный рижский кофе со свежайшими булочками. После этого я отвезу вас обратно в аэропорт.
Экскурсия возможна и в ночное время.

Мы остались очень довольны экскурсией! В первую очередь, конечно, спасибо Инге за ее интересный, структурированный и информационный рассказ, оптимальный для такого короткого времени маршрут через старый город. Экскурсия прошла очень грамотно и,в то же время, не принужденно. захотелось побыть в Риге ещё и не один раз!!!! Инга влюбила нас в Ригу. Большое спасибо за массу положительных эмоций:))
