Интересная архитектура, старинные фотографии, картины школьников, музыкальный аттракцион... Всё это можно найти в одной из самых необычных подземок мира — нью-йоркском метро. Я проведу вас по самым интересным достопримечательностям под землёй и расскажу об их историях — ведь у каждого шедевра она своя.

Что вас ожидает

Метрополитен Нью-Йорка огромен — поэтому мы ограничимся лишь станциями, находящимися в пределах Манхэттена.

  • Начнём с одной из станций в нижней части Манхэттена — возможно, вы заметите необычное расположение платформ на этой станции
  • На одном из пересадочных узлов вы увидите фрагменты архитектурного оформления, ранее присутствовавшие на ныне неиспользуемых платформах
  • В самом центре делового Манхэттена вы увидите (точнее, услышите) единственный в своём роде звуковой аттракцион
  • В районе Upper West Side отыщем своеобразную картинную галерею — городские пейзажи Нью-Йорка из керамической мозаики
  • Прокатимся через историческую станцию City Hall, c которой в 1904 году стартовал первый поезд нью-йоркской подземки

И конечно же, я подробно расскажу об истории появления первой станции, о том, кто создавал керамические картины и с чем связана необычная планировка платформ. И о многом другом!

Аркадий очень обстоятельный, ответственный и просто неутомимый в передвижениях по метро энтузиаст). Однако, если решите заказать экскурсию, имейте в виду, что на многих станциях очень жарко, так что выдержит эту экскурсию не каждый, зато обеспечен сброс пары кг))
