Описание

Достали «шикарные» виды Старой Риги и гламурный югенд улицы Алберта? Бутики дизайнеров и рестораны авторской кухни? А вот, кому горяченького? На этой прогулке вас ждет знакомство с Московским форштадтом — историческим местом проживания русских, цыганских и еврейских рижан. Я обожаю этот район за его колоритность и за то, что сама каждый раз открываю здесь что-то новое. Например, совершенно необыкновенную икону или блинную, открытую практически детьми — студентами технического университета, или магазин, торгующий советскими сувенирами.

Форштадт

Русские купцы, приезжая торговать в Ригу, селились перед Замком вместе со своими холопами. Еврейские ремесленники допускались в Замок днем, а ночью уходили в свои многодетные семьи. Ну, и цыгане, разумеется, там, где весело и лихо. Впрочем, латышей в немецкую Ригу тоже не очень-то и впускали. Так и сформировалась многонациональная община, неспокойная, но дружная.

Так и живет, как может, до сих пор. Церкви четырех конфессий и барахолка, высотка Академии наук с самым лучшим видом на город и самый классный в мире Центральный рынок. Полукриминальные обитатели и ночлежка, как образец современной архитектуры. Лабазы и картинная галлерея. Свежеотполированная набережная — рекламный проект Рижской Думы.

«Маскачка» — район с непростым характером, не всякого примет. Но примет так уж примет. Покажет купеческие особняки, за высокими заборами, староверческий храм и католическую семинарию. Нашепчет о знаменитостях, гулявших в местных трактирах. Угостит простой, незамысловатой пайкой образца советской столовки. Или выпечкой из тайной кондитерской «для своих». А какие здесь персонажи!

Прекрасная и познавательная прогулка с интересной рассказчицей, массой бытовых и исторических деталей и фактов / мне было весьма любопытно увидеть и ощутить , где ПЕЛ и где ПИЛ великий Шаляпин, например/ Район Маскачка очень колоритный сам по себе, а когда тебе все расскажут и покажут дополнительно и со знанием дела - все становится еще интересней! Самые лучшие рекомендации и гиду, и экскурсии!

Отличный гид - Виктория!!! Именно таких знаний и впечатлений хочется, чтобы запомнить город / место!!! Не сухих и скучных фактов из энциклопедий, а живого и яркого общения! Очень рекомендую Викторию как человека ищущего и живого, умного и эрудированного, тонко чувствующего клиента. На фото - дом с Бабой Ягой, мимо которого ходили и не видели ....
