Описание

Мы отправимся из Кирова в сторону города Котельнич. Побываем в местах, где были найдены останки парейазавров. Увидим необычные шаровидные камни, которым от 200 до 300 миллионов лет, — Жуковлянские валуны. Поговорим о том, как их обнаружили и откуда в наших краях взялись кости древних ящеров.

Что вас ожидает

Жуковлянские валуны — скопление шаровидных камней из среднезернистого и мелкозернистого известковистого песчаника. До них мы пройдём несложный пеший маршрут в 2,5 км.

Соколья гора — уникальное место в 20 км от Котельнича, сложенное песчаниками Пермского периода (260 млн лет назад). Её 12-километровый берег — одно из крупнейших в мире скоплений останков древних парейазавров: скелеты этих животных здесь встречаются буквально на каждом шагу.
