Описание

Приготовьтесь к встрече с Коломбо — после тихих курортов Шри-Ланки контраст будет сильным. Вы растворитесь в атмосфере огромного города и взглянете на небоскрёбы с высоты птичьего полета. Вас ждёт не только «биг сити лайф», но и район со старинными храмами и мечетями, шумными припортовыми рынками и колоритными торговцами фруктами.

Что вас ожидает

Пешеходная часть. Начнём экскурсию с небольшой прогулки. Гид подробно расскажет о зарождении и развитии города и о его месте в истории Шри-Ланки. Локации, которые вы увидите:

  • маяк, построенный в 1950 году после обретения независимости Шри-Ланки
  • форт Коломбо и некоторые здания второй половины 19 века, отголоски английской колонизации
  • отель, где останавливался А. П. Чехов
  • Петтах — самый большой и старый уличный оптовый рынок Шри-Ланки. Там вас ждут тысячи магазинчиков с разнообразными товарами, старинная Красная мечеть и индуистский храм

Автомобильная часть. Продолжим знакомство с городом на машине, чтобы увидеть не самые центральные достопримечательности:

  • голландский реформаторский храм 1730 года
  • телебашня «Лотус» высотой 350 метров. Поднимемся на обзорную площадку, с которой открываются шикарные виды города
  • храм Гангарамая — известный буддийский храм в Коломбо
  • Национальный музей Коломбо, где вы узнаете больше об истории и культуре страны, а также увидите предметы шри-ланкийского искусства
  • Порт-сити. На прощанье побываем на площадке с красивыми видами на город с моря. Здесь же есть городской пляж с аттракционами

  • В программе есть храм, поэтому важно выбрать одежду, прикрывающую плечи и колени, не прозрачную и не в обтяжку
  • Можно с детьми, но детям младше 6 лет может быть сложно

Были на экскурсии в конце марта 2026, гид Руван. Хотим поблагодарить нашего гида, который познакомил нас с таким чудесным городом,как Коломбо! Мы увидели два самых старых отеля города, побывали в одном из них, зашли в сувенирный магазин, в другом магазине купили фрукты на ужин (на экскурсии были прямо в день прилёта) и Калипсо, побывали в Национальном музее, научились отличать колониальный стиль архитектуры. Коломбо немного раскрылся перед нами за несколько часов экскурсии. Старая мечеть, Буддийский храм со множеством артефактов, Индуистский храм, где мы увидели церемонию бракосочетания, христианские храмы, маяк 19 века, знаменитую набережную... Руван отвечал на все вопросы, помогал в выборе, и подарил чай! Спасибо за погружение в историю! Будем рекомендовать!
