«Судно по морю бежит. Град на острове стоит», — всем знакомы эти строки из сказки Пушкина. Но не все знают, что возможным прообразом Буяна был именно Свияжск. Приглашаем вас его посетить! Остров расположен на живописном холме, в окружение трёх рек. Гуляя по его уютным улицам, вы полюбуетесь колокольнями и куполами древних храмов. А мы расскажем связанные с ними удивительные факты.

  • Старейшую в Среднем Поволжье деревянную Троицкую церковь, построенную из сосновых брёвен в 1551 году
  • Успенский собор с росписями 16 века, среди которых единственная в России прижизненная фреска с изображением Ивана Грозного и святого Христофора
  • Собор в честь иконы Богородицы «Всех Скорбящих Радость» в византийском стиле
  • Рождественскую площадь с особняком купца Каменева и смотровой площадкой, откуда открывается потрясающий вид на Волгу

Хорошая экскурсия, по пути в Свияжск ещё заехали на 20 минут в Храм всех Религий, чего на мой взгляд, более чем достаточно для знакомства с этим местом. Экскурсовод хорошо и интересно рассказала основные моменты и провела по главным местам о Свияжск. Так же было немного свободного времени для того, чтобы зайти на ярмарку и купить чай с пончиками и сувениры.

Мало времени даётся для самостоятельного осмотра. Специально выбрала эту экскурсию, а не вместе с Раифским монастырём, чтобы больше побыть в Свияжске. Мне было мало, хотя относительно погоды, всё удачно: ливень начался сразу после посадки в автобусе.
