Очень хорошая экскурсия и отличная работа гида. Адлер! Побережье Чёрного Моря! Место с очень интересной историей. В доисторические времена на этом месте был большой океан Тэтис, который существовал в эпоху мезозоя между континентами Лавразия и Гондвана. С появлением Большого Кавказского Хребта, Крыма и Малой Азии океан оказался разделён на Черное, Каспийское, Азовское, Средиземное и Мраморное моря. В древние времена на этой территории жили Неандертальцы и Кроманьонцы. Первые строения человека - каменные дольмены возрастом более 3000 лет. В Эпоху Древнего Мира место явилось переплетением культур разных народов. Древняя Колхида, куда в поисках Золотого Руна приплыли Ясон и Аргонафты, соответствует географически описанию именно этих мест. Греческая и Генуэзская культуры сменяли друг друга. С распадом Византийской Империи в течении 4 веков данные земли были под властью Османской Империи, получил распространение Ислам. В 1828 и 1829 годах прошла война между Российской и Османской империями. По Андрианопольскому мирному договору эти земли вошли в состав России, но местное население активно сопротивлялось вхождению в состав Российского Государства по культурным и религиозным причинам, процветала работорговля. Слова Адлер по одной из версий происходит от названия крупного абазинского племени Ардба, которое турки на свой манер произносили как Ард-лар. Момент основания Адлера несколько необычен. Им считается высадка на побережье морского десанта в 1837 году. 8 июня в день Святого Духа строиться Форт, получивший одноимённое название. Во времена высадки десанта хорошо проявил себя бывший декабрист Бестужев-Марлинский, бюст которому установлен в одноимённом сквере. Он погиб при высадки десанта. Однако само тело не нашли. Сквер построен в 1910 году силами местных жителей. В данной местности имеется уникальный курортный климат за счёт смешения морского и горного воздушных потоков, но сверепствовала малярия. Высаживались платаны и эвкалипты, проводилось осушение болот. Но главное решение - рыбка Камбузия, которая поела все личинки комаров и в 1956 году уже не было зафиксировано ни одного случая. В годы Великой Отечественной Войны город Сочи - город-госпиталь. Все санатории и пансионаты переоборудовали. За 3 месяца силами местных жителей - в основном женщин, детей и стариков был построен аэродром для санитарной авиации в Адлере в 1941 году. В госпиталях работали известные врачи, в частности известный челюстно-лицевой хирург Николай Иванович Агапов. На средства местных жителей приобретались боевые самолёты и военная техника. С 1961 года Адлер присоединён к городу Сочи на правах района. Большой Сочи состоит из 4 районов: Лазаревский, Хостинский, Центральный и Адлерский районы и является самым длинным городом в мире, его протяжённость вдоль черноморского побережья составляет около 99 км, что делает его одним из самых протяженных городов в мире.
