Описание

Касимов — мой родной город, самобытный, уютный и очень разный. Я расскажу вам о его богатой истории и объясню, как православная и мусульманская архитектура уживаются на его центральных площадях. О царственных гостях города и бывших владельцах нарядных особняков. А ещё приглашу заглянуть в маленький кусочек Азии в бывшей Татарской слободе.

Что вас ожидает

Соборная площадь — исторический центр города с самой высокой концентрацией памятников архитектуры 17–19 веков. Мы погуляем по «каменной сказке», как называет это место большинство жителей, и полюбуемся собором и храмами, а также фундаментальными Торговыми рядами, которые не похожи ни на какие другие.

Набережная Оки — визитная карточка Касимова. Мы рассмотрим сохранившиеся купеческие усадьбы влиятельных и известных когда-то людей. Вы узнаете, кто из российских императоров здесь бывал.

Бывшая Татарская слобода — вы услышите об истории становления Касимовского ханства, рассмотрите мусульманские памятники 15–16 веков и узнаете о знаменитых татарских семья и их домах, которые расположены по периметру площади.
