Описание

Битломания официально называется болезнью. Медики решили, что проще так отделаться, чем объяснить повальную любовь к The Beatles. Мы посетим места, откуда она просочилась в мир, и проследим этапы её распространения. А заодно выясним, какую музыку битлов слушали в космосе, когда Джон Леннон надел круглые очки и кем была Йоко Оно — музой или ведьмой.

Что вас ожидает

Район Сохо, где расположился театр, ставшим местом зарождения битломании в 1963 году.

Прогулка возле бывшей штаб-квартиры NEMS Enterprises. По соседству с ним состоялось злополучное интервью, где Джон Леннон произнёс фразу «больше, чем Иисус» — и она привела к запрету въезда The Beatles в США.

Общественный туалет, возле которого в образе швейцара Джон Леннон снимал скетч для комедийного шоу на BBC. Это было его первое появление на публике в легендарных очках с круглой оправой.

Паб, в котором Пол Маккартни нередко обедал пинтой эля. Там же он познакомился со своей второй супругой Линдой.

Клуб, сыгравший важную роль в формировании британской музыки — в нём играли The Who, The Sex Pistols, Pink Floyd, Дэвид Боуи. А The Beatles ежегодного записывали здесь рождественское послание для фанатов.

Штаб-квартира Apple Corps, на крыше которой состоялось последнее выступление ливерпульской четвёрки. В подвале дома на протяжении многих лет записывались альбомы The Beatles, включая Let It Be.
