Описание

На комфортабельном авто мы будем передвигаться между точками маршрута, делать остановки в интересных местах, гулять и наслаждаться атмосферой. Такие «обязательные» локации, как Букингемский дворец, Трафальгарская площадь, Вестминстер, Сити, Тауэр, будут разбавлены менее известными, но не менее впечатляющими достопримечательностями, о которых я вам расскажу.

Что вас ожидает

  • Я познакомлю вас с двумя историческими центрами Лондона: Сити и Вестминстером, а также с центральными районами: Мэйфэа, Ковен Гарден, Сохо, Тэмпл, Белгравия, Кенсингтон и Челси
  • Поделюсь своими исследованиями истории и наблюдениями. Мы будем разбираться последовательно и глубоко, хронологично, делая акценты на главных героях и событиях так, чтобы после обзорного знакомства с Лондоном у вас сложилось своё мнение и вы смогли потом углубиться в собственное исследование

Точки маршрута

Королевский дворец Сент-Джеймс и Букингемский дворец — главные королевские дворцы центрального Лондона. Если день экскурсии выпадет на пн, ср, пт или вс, мы застанем смену королевских гвардейцев. И независимо от дня недели прогуляемся по паркам «Сент-Джеймс» и «Грин».

Трафальгарская площадь — центральная площадь Лондона. Национальная картинная галерея, колонна Нельсона.

Здание Парламента и Вестминстерское аббатство — сердце района Вестминстер.

Вестминстерский мост — второй построенный в Лондоне мост, откуда открывается прекрасный вид на здание Парламента и Темзу.

Даунинг-стрит — резиденция премьер-министра Англии.

Здание Королевского суда, район Темпл.

Кафедральный собор Святого Павла — главный собор Сити. Здесь поговорим о возникновении христианства в Лондоне, англиканстве, великом архитекторе, людях, захороненных здесь, и удивительной роли этого восхитительного храма.

Лондонский Сити — проедем через весь исторический и в прошлом единственный город Сити. Обещаю много неожиданного даже самым начитанным и знающим. Современная архитектура — лишь форма в погоне за временем. По-настоящему, здесь всё то же Средневековье и в топографии, и в укладе.

Лондонский Тауэр и Тауэрский мост. Хотя Лондонский Тауэр и был тюрьмой с 1100 года, надо помнить, что первоначальное его назначение — это резиденция королей, безопасная крепость и символ власти. Ну а Тауэрский мост — самый узнаваемый мост через Темзу. Лучшие фотографии здесь!

Банк Англии и Королевская биржа. Одна из великолепных площадей Сити, где сосредоточены три самых значимых здания: Центральный банк Англии, Королевская биржа и резиденция лорда-мэра.

Лиденхолл-маркет, здание Ллойдс и «Огурец». Прекрасное место Викторианской эпохи, спрятанное за современной архитектурой двух узнаваемых зданий.

Район Белгравия и Кенсингтон. С востока на запад города проедем по набережной Темзы, осматривая красоту на пути! К району Белгравия подъедем и удивимся, что это тот же город.

Район Кенсингтон: концертный зал «Альберт-холл», мемориал принца Альберта и несколько музеев.

Кенсингтонский дворец. Место рождения королевы Виктории, проживания принцессы Дианы. Здесь развивается моя самая любимая история из прошлого Англии.

Кенсингтонские сады и Мемориал принцессе Диане.

Район Мэйфэа, улица Пикадилли, площадь Пикадилли, улица Риджен.

Наша семья приехала в Лондон в первый раз. О городе имели совершенно дилетантское представление из книг и телевизора, поэтому решили сразу же выбрать длинную «шоковую» экскурсию с посещением максимально возможного количества знаковых достопримечательностей. Именно такую предлагает Ирина. Большой плюс и отличие от подобных экскурсий в том, что маршрут с Ириной происходит на автомобиле. Это позволяет увидеть в комфортных условиях примерно в 2 раза больше мест за 6 часов, получить максимум информации и наметить план дальнейшего подробного изучения этого (теперь уже понятно) замечательного города! Ирине огромная благодарность и респект за чудесную поездку, рассказ и множество сделанных фото; полученные знания будем осмысливать ближайшие несколько дней:) Рекомендуем всем, и сами очень рады знакомству!
