Описание

Мы отправимся в уникальное место — экологический парк Indigenous Eyes Ecological Reserve. Он назван так в честь пресноводных лагун, которые индейцы Таино прозвали «глазами» за их форму. Приготовьтесь к неспешной прогулке по тропическому лесу, к купанию в природных бирюзовых водоёмах и встрече с редкими обитателями острова — почти без других людей вокруг.

Что вас ожидает

30–45 мин. — трансфер из отелей Пунта Кана — Баваро
Комфортный переезд в природный парк, во время которого мы расскажем, как был открыт остров и кто здесь жил до прихода европейцев.

2–2,5 часа — прогулка по природному парку «Глаза коренных народов»
Парк создан для сохранения экосистемы и культурного наследия острова. Он закрыт для массового посещения — чаще всего кроме нас в парке почти никого нет. Мы пройдём по тенистым тропам, послушаем пение птиц и увидим 12 пресноводных лагун, образованных подземной рекой Яуйя.

  • Остановки на лагунах. Три из них доступны для купания: вода здесь чистейшая, прохладная и бирюзовая. В одной из лагун вы обязательно увидите черепашек и маленьких рыб
  • Встреча с игуаной-носорогом. В парке есть вольер с редким видом игуаны — она водится только на острове Эспаньола и находится под охраной. Вы сможете понаблюдать за её жизнью вблизи
  • По желанию — выход к океану. Тропа заканчивается на берегу Карибского моря. Можно дойти до побережья и искупаться уже в океанских волнах
